Bottle. Slightly cloudy in the glass, in all the best (unfiltered) ways. Nice dense head, pours with a lot of carbonation, as would be expected. Surprising how much sweet, maltiness comes through, equally surprising how well this combines with the esters from the yeast. Slight sour flavor and aroma, but definitnely nothing very pronounced. Very tasty. Slightly oxidized - a little bit of chalkiness in the finish, but that’s probably just because this thing sat on a container ship the last 6 months of its existence. Tasty.

Medium/heavy aroma of malts, caramel, fruit, Saison yeast, bread, hops and citrus.
Opaque golden/amber beer with slight yeast and with a slight off-white head.
Starts medium sweet with malts, caramel, fruit and Saison yeast; ends slightly bitter and dry with bread, hops and citrus.
This beer is intense, complex and balanced. God damn it, another amazing Saison from thos brewery. Lovely refreshing beer with a hint of fruit and some very slight funk at the end. Perfect appearance and a great aroma and palate as well.
Amazing Saison. Beautiful aroma of citrus and must. Perfect carbonation level and a truly balanced acidity. Overall this is one of best sour beers I’ve tried all year. ALIBALI (1957) - Kiel, GERMANY - MAY 24, 2017

Fresh, fruity aroma with a rustic tart sourness. A bit of citrus along the way. Taste is light but complex at the same time. Fruits(orange zest), grass, tart. Balanced, highly drinkable saison, which is not as sour as expected. Weird and different, but in a good way.

Botella 75 cl cortesía Fonso tomada en Belmonte 28..04..2017. Lote N 15 hasta antes finales 2018. (r1187).
Amazingly delicate and light beer for 8% abv. Super drinkable, rather crisp, refreshing. mrjez (607) - Osaka, JAPAN - MAR 31, 2017
On tap at CBB. An attractive cloudy honey gold with a great thick foamy head. Very funky nose, barnyard hay, yeast giving fruity esters, juicy pulpy citrus, evokes a classic saison. Plenty of citrus in the flavour, champagne grape, apple juice, apricot, tangy with lingering funky and sour notes. Slightly fizzy start but a full lush feel, a hint of booze noticeable. One of my fave styles done just how I like it. Jimbo2 (447) - DENMARK - MAR 10, 2017
Beautiful golden colour. Aroma and gum and funky fruits. Slightly tart and intense, fruity bitterness. Funk! superspak (5497) - Michigan, USA - FEB 11, 2017
750 ml bottle into tulip glass, best before 2018. Pours slightly hazy golden orange color with a 1 finger dense white head with good retention, that reduces to a thin cap that lingers. Nice spotty soapy lacing clings around the glass. Aromas of big lemon, orange, peach, apricot, strawberry, pineapple, pear, apple, white pepper, clove, citrus peel, hay, straw, floral, herbal, grass, funk, wheat, honey, cracker, bread, and yeast earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great complexity and balance of fruity/funky/spicy yeast and moderate pale malt notes; with great strength. Taste of big lemon, orange, peach, apricot, strawberry, pineapple, pear, apple, white pepper, clove, citrus peel, hay, straw, floral, herbal, grass, funk, wheat, honey, cracker, bread, and yeast earthiness. Moderate yeast spiciness and light tart/tangy fruitiness on the finish; with lingering notes of lemon, orange, peach, apricot, strawberry, pineapple, pear, apple, white pepper, clove, citrus peel, hay, straw, floral, herbal, grass, funk, wheat, honey, cracker, bread, and yeast earthiness on the finish for a while. Fantastic complexity, robustness, and balance of fruity/funky/spicy yeast and moderate pale malt flavors; with a great malt/tart/spiciness balance, and zero cloying flavors after the finish. Light-moderate dryness from tart/spiciness, increasing through the glass. Medium carbonation and body; with very smooth, moderately bready/grainy/sticky, and lightly acidic balanced mouthfeel that is great. Zero warming alcohol for 8%. Overall this is a fantastic saison. All around awesome complexity, robustness, and balance of fruity/funky/spicy yeast and moderate pale malt flavors; very smooth and fairly crisp/refreshing to drink with the balanced tart/spiciness. Amazing yeast complexity and balancing malt character; while still remaining nicely drying, spicy, tart, and funky; despite having modest carbonation for the style. A highly enjoyable offering all around.
