COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This is a tremendously delicious, textural, and fizzy county ale, bright gold colour, citric and sour, reminiscent of a good champagne or lambic but in a class all its own.
Fantôme – Golden ale, 8% alc. by volume, with a wonderfully musty and characterful aroma. There are many drinkers out there who believe this is the “Nectar of the Gods.” Certainly no other brewer makes beer like this, in Belgium or anywhere. How many beers of 8% plus offer such fresh fruitiness? A solid Belgian saison beer at its base, with an unusual overlay of fruitiness.

Lot NoC, no date on bottle but I suspecit is is quite old. After all the reviews, I am not that impressed. Meaty, brothy yeast autolosyis dominates the profile with a black pepper spice dominating the palate. It is not an easy beer to drink. It tastes like dirty sweaty gym socks in my mouth. It is really disjointed, the flavors are not coming together. I would take a Omegang Hennapin or Bison Farmhouse Ale to this beer any day.

Pours a hazy golden yellow from the bottle with bubbly white head that dissipates slowly to leave good lace. Aroma of big musty funk over a hint of light citrus and lactic acidity. Taste is all the funk throughout, a hint of lemon like citrus up front, then a dry, grassy finish. Almost the epitome of a tart saison, really well done, and the booze is really well hidden.

Bottle. Cloudy golden pour with a small white head. Aroma is really funky, a little lemony, hint of soap. Taste is really funky and kind of soapy as well, weird. This may have been past its prime.

Kran w Muted Horn. Aromat owocowy, brzoskwinie, przyjemny. W smaku wychodzi dość intensywny alkohol, do tego owoce, nuty przyprawowe.

Tap at Muted Horn, Berlin. Unclear orange beer with white head. Aroma of peach, pear, spices, coriander, yeast. Taste is light+ sweet and bitter, peach, citrus, spices, pear, yeast, notes of pepper. Medium body, average to lively carbonation. Crisp, fruity and quite complex. Very good saison.

Cloudy amber to red color, small white head. Nice fruity aroma, hints of sourness, some bubblegum. Flat to medium body. Watery finish. Good but not the best out there.

750ml bottle at home. the beer has little carbonation. Has a lovely deep orange colour. very easy to drink. I have no idea what’s inside the beer . You can’t taste the 8% beer.
