3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
It’s been a bit since I had this beer, but the thing that struck me most was a slightly pepper quality about the palate. Not peppery in a hop way, or even as an assertive note, but a kind of very subtle echo I sensed on the edges of my tongue. The saison wasn’t the best I’d tried, but that was a wholly unique quality for me to find in a beer. Fortunately, it was at a tasting and I was able to learn what it was. Care to guess? Of course--pepper. Quite an eye-opener.
750ml bottle at home. the beer has little carbonation. Has a lovely deep orange colour. very easy to drink. I have no idea what’s inside the beer . You can’t taste the 8% beer. Bacchus66 (348) - South Carolina, USA - JUL 13, 2017
From tap. Hazy yellow gold with s full white head and good lacing. Spicy, fruity nose. Citrus, yeast, spice, grassy flavors. Fizzy carbonation and a tart, medium finish. Really nice. balloonbuffoon (316) - - JUL 8, 2017
25.4floz (750ml) bottle, no freshness, paid the discounted price $5 about six months ago. Poured into a large snifter glass appearing hazy gold with a small layer of head. Yeast drives this beer, from the leathery, field greens, and medicinal aroma to the ester dominate palate. Pear, honey, rose depict the array of flavors over a full-bodied and soft carbonation feel. Very good saison. Ktwse (4884) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - JUN 23, 2017

Medium/heavy aroma of malts, caramel, fruit, Saison yeast, bread, hops and citrus.
Opaque golden/amber beer with slight yeast and with a slight off-white head.
Starts medium sweet with malts, caramel, fruit and Saison yeast; ends slightly bitter and dry with bread, hops and citrus.
This beer is intense, complex and balanced. God damn it, another amazing Saison from thos brewery. Lovely refreshing beer with a hint of fruit and some very slight funk at the end. Perfect appearance and a great aroma and palate as well.
Amazing Saison. Beautiful aroma of citrus and must. Perfect carbonation level and a truly balanced acidity. Overall this is one of best sour beers I’ve tried all year. ALIBALI (2090) - Kiel, GERMANY - MAY 24, 2017

Fresh, fruity aroma with a rustic tart sourness. A bit of citrus along the way. Taste is light but complex at the same time. Fruits(orange zest), grass, tart. Balanced, highly drinkable saison, which is not as sour as expected. Weird and different, but in a good way. angel77 (3366) - oviedo, SPAIN - APR 24, 2017
