Bottle 0,5l. Unclear. A shortlived soapy head. Weak aroma of sourish fruit. A bit too carbonated. Undeterminable flavor but there is some fruity malt. Modest fruity finish. Not the best from the brewery. fonefan (48740) - VestJylland, DENMARK - AUG 15, 2007

I have re rated this beer originally I gave it a 3.4 BUT in the last few months it has lost its grapefruit finish only to be replaced with a strange bitter/acidity.
The appearance has changed too, its not a clear gold, but cloudy now chriso (7533) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - DEC 17, 2006
Cask (gravity dispense) at London Drinker Beer Festival (Friday session), March 2006. Straw colour. Not the most zesty or assertive of golden ales but there are touches of citrus in the mix. But there’s also a more robust, rustic, traditional UK hop presence as well. Generally quite subtle and easy-drinking, with modest bitterness. A very pleasant, well-tempered beer.

Cask @ Chelmsford BF06: Slightly fruity golden ale with some earthy hops. Dry malts and a bit herbal. Not bad.

A hazy straw yellow coloured beer with a weak head. A light smokey hop nose, with a little touch of malt. The taste is dry, malty and very smokey, like a Scottish Islands malt whisky! the finish id dry and smokey. (Cask - @ The Fox & Hounds Summer Beer Festival 2006, Heacham, Norfolk.). duff (5484) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - JUL 19, 2006

Beer festival. Quite an earthy golden ale, with some sweet palae malt characters and a light hint of citric hops in the finish. Easy drinking, but a little boring.
Cask conditioned - gravity dispense - Chelmsford BF. A light straw coloured beer. The aroma is dry with a little sulfer. The taste is more of the same. This was all I could really write but I was really enjoying drinking it. It just seemed a tasty, somewhat odd beer and it went down a treat. Joeh (2049) - Buckinghamshire, ENGLAND - JUL 15, 2006
Cask conditioned Chelmsford beer festival, 2006. Golden. A touch of varnish and a hit of hops. Quite chemical but the citric hop character helps it out. DJMonarch (9179) - Northwich, Cheshire, ENGLAND - FEB 10, 2006
Cask Stillage from the jug at the Smithfield Hotel, Manchester 23/07/2004
