Tricker (419) - Quebec, CANADA - MAY 12, 2017

Bierdimpfe (640) - Quebec, CANADA - SEP 29, 2016
Bright straw color with stormy activity. Extra foamy white 5 finger mountain head in a pilsener glass, lasting around 10-15 minutes, with faint legs. Flavors of lemon, sweet grains, faint noble hops, floral bouquet. Highly sweet with some grassy tones, sharp citrus and pleasant yeasty feel. Slick and smooth full body with extra crispy carbonation, almost champagne like. Light to medium strength finish that lingers with a faint bitter grassy mouth feel, but more sugary coating, and a thick floral feel. Overall very good quality craft. Intense lemony flavor, very nice, with a wheaty bready feel. Well balanced, rounded, and intensified. Strangely feels like a cross between a pils and a tripel. Smells and taste ultra fresh. Perfect on hot summer day.

Lubiere (14133) - Ottawa, Ontario, CANADA - JUN 21, 2015
A pale blonde pilsner with a thin white head. In aroma, sweet fruity malt with crisp character, light biscuit, light mineral notes and German hops. In mouth, a nice sweet biscuit malt with grassy German hops, light mineral notes, well done. On tap at Festival Brassicole des Laurentides 2015.

Can. Clear gold pour with thin but persitent white head. Aroma is grainy, pretty aromatic, bright pils malt aroma, very light lemony notes, a bit of juniper berry, nice bready notes. Taste is grainy, husky grainy flavor, fresh doughy pils malt, brewery smell, light grassy hoppiness. Palate is med bodied, dry, nice bubbly carbonation. A bit rough around the edges, slightly brash pilsner but with a very nice flavor/aroma profile that quickly lets me forget it’s slightly below average drinkability.

Metalflake (73) - Les Coteaux, Quebec, CANADA - MAR 31, 2015
473ml can, bought in a four-pack at the local IGA. Poured into a lager glass, pale clear yellow with a bright white 2cm head that dissipated rather quickly. Aromas of grain, biscuit and hops. Not as crisp or bitter on the finish as I like from the best pilseners. Lively carbonation, light mouthfeel. An OK beer, certainly not the best pils I’ve had but very drinkable, especially alongside a burger and onion rings.

HippyHop (678) - Quebec, CANADA - DEC 15, 2014
I guess this is a pilsener. Smells and tastes like light grain and faint noble hops. Lacking crispness on the finish for my tastes, and also features an unfortunate lingering metallic taste (it’s slight). Second disappointing entry in this mixer pack (I expected as much).
