Can from Meditrina. Clear copper with lasting head and lace. Light toasted caramel honey aroma with some earthy hops. Medium sweet light toasted caramel sweetness. Medium earthy bitterness. Slight cloy. Definitely nailed the authentic bitter. Very good.

South Burlington branch can. A: Cloudy rust colour, off white foam is thick and leaves loads of lacing behind. S: Mix of lemony hops and heaps of caramel and grainy malt. T: Grain, caramel malt dominate with the lemon tasting hops playing second fiddle. Like it should be for the style. M: Creaminess gives the impression of full bodied. O: Well crafted Bitter. More of these in the US required!

Bire blonde-brune (beige ?!) 5 % dalcool. Trs bonne !

Clear amber color with moderate activity. Slightly creamy beige 2 finger head, lasting around 10 minutes, with a strong amount of lacing. Flavors of caramel, faint molasses, toffee like, with noble hops, sweet malts, faint citrus, and red ale spices like nutmeg and cinnamon. Nice sugary feel with a dash of roasted spices. Thick smooth full body with the perfect amount of crispy carbonation. Medium strength finish, ending on a side of butterscotch, a citrus zest, and a strong grassy feel. Overall very good quality craft. Quite delicious, great balance, good intensity. Perfectly rounded. Accessible. Highly drinkable and super fresh. Good representation of the style.

I like bitters. I think they are a very under-rated style. This one is freshly and tastefully malty, like it should be. It definitely tastes British.

Poured into an English pint glass (proper/correct, yes). The appearance was a burnt/glossy dark amber close to brown color color with a sustaining cap of a little white head. Light lacing. The aroma starts off with some sweet apples lording over a glossy sweet spice with an ample sweet breadiness slyly rounding it all out. The flavor takes it all in with a sly use of some fruity esters to round out a sweet clean malt base. Semi-sweet nice malty aftertaste with semi-sticky finish. On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a nice sessionable trait to it. Feels good on my tongue, move slyly with a somewhat sticky feel. Overall, good English Bitter for the most part and would go nicely with its respected food. Yes, pass the fish n chips!
