Well-known old-fashioned milk stout with milk sugar added. Yellow beige, dense foam, colour near black. Gentle aroma of milk powder, chocolate, cream, coffee beans, roasted grains, raisins, caramel. Sweetish taste with very creamy, not to say ’milky’ mouthfeel, caramel smoothness, soft finish with only very light roasted bitterness, as is custom for a sweet stout. I know not everyone likes this waning style, but this is a good example of it.

Bottle. Pours cloudy very dark brown with stable tan head. Clear but weak aroma of coffee, malt and grain, with subtle touches of yeast. Sweetish flavour of malt and yeast, with touches of coffee and milky notes. Faint, bitter notes of hops. Rather rough and dusty aftertaste, with sourish, milky hints. My first Maltese stout. Better than expected but nothing special as such.

The body has a nice dark chocolaty brown color with a light brown, chocolate milk shake like head on top. The head has very good retention makes tons of thick light brown lacing on the glass. Its aroma has a mix of leafy hops, minerals and smoky roasted grain. The flavor has hints of coffee with cream, some smoke, sweet roasted gain, leafy hops and a light dusting of dark coco powder. It has a nice medium body with a silky smooth texture and soft carbonation. It is slick but not overly thick or cloying at all.

Normal tykkelse.

Aroma - there is a small amount of chocolate and a little tinge of roast Appearance - very dark brown/black body; liquid is opaque; the head is about 1" and a nice tan/brown color; lacing is a silky stocking Taste - the taste is sort of like chocolate malt and a cracker jack like caramel, mild, yet nice. A very much subdued roast, it’s nearly negligible; there is a little of that Chocolate Cow about it as well. Palate - body is medium; texture is slightly thick and a little creamy as well; the carbonation is soft, bordering on flat; the finish is kind of like a chocolate milk.

DWG; Bottle gift from mom. Thx mom. Pours dark brown with lacing, tan head. Aroma is roasted malty, caramell and fruity with hint of chocolate. Taste is less, adding metallic. Medium body, thin, sticky texture. Finish is sweet, roasty metallic.
