DWB :) Dark brown colour, beige foam. Aroma with A hint of liqorice and chocolate..not much aroma. Taste is sweet, with some dried fruits. Slightly bitter. Quite watery. Cousin_Larry (895) - - NOV 1, 2013
UPDATED: NOV 4, 2013 Biggest drawback is the flatness. Flavor is great - caramel and chocolate with sweet cream notes. Bif (2245) - St. Charles, Missouri, USA - OCT 26, 2013
Pours a black color with no head to speak of. Aroma of malt, dark fruit, and a bit of caramel sweetness. Taste of malt, some dark fruit, bit of caramel with a hint of chocolate. Very light bitterness and a pretty dry finish. Light body, smooth, but short on character. Decent beer but not what I look for in a Stout. Hanuta06 (469) - Washington, USA - OCT 26, 2013
Serving: from bottle--purchased at The Beer Junction.
Aroma: light apple, wood, grape.
Appearance: very small, rocky, light brown initial head with no lacing and fully diminishing longevity. Dark-brown body.
Taste: lightly sweet, clove, vanilla, apple initial flavor and lightly sweet, chocolate finish with short duration.
Palate: light body, thin, watery texture and flat carbonation.
Overall: below average. The aroma was interesting, but the taste was strange and the palate was terrible-really watery, thin and flat. Martinus (4601) - Baarle-Nassau, NETHERLANDS - OCT 22, 2013
Black colour, red hue, tan dissipating head. Sweet aroma, malts, yoghurt drink and red fruits. Sweet malty flavour, caramel, lactose, sugars. Bit thin body. Short finish, light roasted malts.

0.25 l bottle from Valetta, Malta... Clody black color, standard head and full body... Mild and light smokey stout aroma of caramel. Little bit watery... Standard stout, little bit boring, nothing special... Mild ending... Cantabrian (1131) - Christchurch, NEW ZEALAND - OCT 2, 2013
Bottle. Espresso in colour and in froth. Aroma of corn syrup, maple syrup and Karamalz. The flavour has caramel, molasses, malt and not too much of a roasted tone and little bitterness. In spite of the near cloying sweetness, it is light/thin on the palate, with a lean milk touch on the tongue. Happy to have the opportunity of trying this classic. The positive rating goes for the resilience of the product & brand. Not at all comparable to the great Mackeson Stout. This is more like one of the brown Baltic Porters. I’d be happy to have it on my pancakes. ON THAT NOTE: Today I tried the famous BUTTERBEER at Hogsmead village (Harry Potter stories) at the Islands of Adventure park in Orlando, FL. This was a great experience, with an utterly sweet (butterscotch soda) cold drink with a creamy head (made of real cream). It is a great drink, very refreshing and nutritious. Petty that we rate alcohol free beer but we cannot rate other drinks such as Braunschweiger Mumme or Butterbeer here in this site. I’d love to read the opinions. Courtesy of ElDesmadre. Didn’t take any notes for this beer unfortunately. Enjoyed it. Thanks a lot ElDesmadre! jfb (6270) - GERMANY - SEP 20, 2013
(bottle) pours a clear deep brown colour with a frothy beige head. aroma of herbal hops, buttered corn, earth and light toasted malts, with a hint of dark chocolate in the finish. flavour is mostly the same, though quite meaty, with notes of grainy roasted malts in the dry finish. medium-bodied with average carbonation. neur0 (1277) - Hannover, GERMANY - SEP 20, 2013
