50cl bottle offerte par des amis de Bamberg. Pas trop de goût, juste pour désaltérer. Ritzn (1380) - GERMANY - NOV 22, 2016
Clear golden with little white head. Aroma is butter, grass flour, musty hops. Taste is citric sourness with smooth butter. Good to drink. Pleasant juicy mouthfeel of low carbonation. Nice. anstei (2254) - Zurich, SWITZERLAND - SEP 17, 2016
Tap at the brewpub, from wooden barrel. The more dry and more slim version of the Fässla. Light and straight, no compromise. A little less carbonation than the lager, but with a bit of chewing gum. Well done.

On tap: The aroma consists of mild sweet cereal notes, grass, and a hint of lemon. It’s a transparent gold with a large white head that fades to a thin film outlined by a slightly thicker ring
There is some sporadic soapy webbing left on the sides of the glass. The flavor starts with mild cereal notes and a hint of honey. The finish has light-moderate grass with just a hint of lemon. It’s light bodied with light-moderate carbonation. SinH4 (4796) - Garching b. München, GERMANY - AUG 7, 2016

Bottle. Pours clear yellow with a white head. Aroma of grains, breads, lots of caramel, light citrus. Old bread, and touch too much caramel. Wish this was a bit younger. TAR (2765) - Blue Ridge Mountains, North Carolina, USA - JUL 22, 2016
Draft at Brauerei Fässla: Luminous flaxen golden. Pleasant but simple aroma of lemon zest, honeysuckle and toasted hay. Soft carbonation sits snugly on the tongue. Subtle lemony acidity precedes a vibrant grassy hop expression. Mineralic and snappy, though a mild note of DMS (lettuce) muddles things. Crackery pils malt is gently glazed with sugar and aside from a very minor grainy brashness, is polished and nicely textured. Cleanly bitter finish is pleasantly coarse in its leafiness, with lingering lemon balm and lemon pulp. Slippery residue lasts well into the aftertaste to plague the malt structure. While this - or any Fässla product, for that matter - isn’t something I seek when in Bamberg, it’s far from unpleasant. Aside from a few minor imperfections and being overly restrained, it’s highly drinkable, with an appealing softness and good hop flavor. Serviceable.
