50cl bottle @ Bamberg. Pours clear yellow with a small creamy white head. Lots of freshness in this one. Crisp, nice hop profile and dry. A bit of bread, herbal and grainy notes. Very nice and tasty.

Bottled. Pale yellow colour with mediumsized airy/fluffy head. Aroma is saltwater, some slight wooden notes as well as herbal and bready malty. Flavour is quite herbal earthy notes along with some slight saltwatery notes. A quite complex flavour. Also did it draught at the brewery with very close ratingnumberrresults (only 0.2 differing). Nrrating given is the one in between...

This is probably my favourite Bamberg pilsner. Gold colour. Thick rocky head. Very herbal, slightly spicy aroma with a fresh pale malt aroma. Fairly rich pils, both in spicy hop character, moderate bitterness and full pale malts. Leans more towards Bohemia than Bavaria, to my pleasure. On tap at the brewery.

Beershine (5253) - VANCOUVER, British Columbia, CANADA - JUN 21, 2009
Draft @ brewery. Bright, light golden with lasting white head and lacing. Crisp, very leafy, grassy, and Saaz-like aroma. Great drinkability factor. Excellent pils flavors, crisp and clean with dry hoppy finish.
