The bottle looks good, the beer in the glass also. Very zippy, but not much foam. Hoppy and sweet aroma. Starts a bit moldy, but still spicy and aromatic. Good balanced finish. Good beer! imdownthepub (15525) - Banbury, Oxfordshire, ENGLAND - OCT 16, 2008
Bottled, 500ml, pasteurised from REAL Supermarket, Bamberg. Gold with white head. High carbonation within the beer, cardboardy and tinny notes to the fore, simple malt beer with a lack of flavour to push it to a higher level. Dull and boring in the bottle. jfb (6984) - GERMANY - SEP 17, 2008

Pale amber colour with diminishing head. Fresh malty aroma with some hops noticed. Good balanced flavour and bitterness from grassy, herbal hops. Well crafted beer here, with hop accentuation. DSG (15432) - Tel Aviv, ISRAEL - AUG 9, 2008

UPDATED: JAN 24, 2014 Draft at the brewery in Bamberg. Clear gold. Nose is yeast, grain, corn. Crisp, grassy, drying. Noble hops. A decent pils that doesn’t do much other than quench thirst. downender (9008) - Bristol, Gloucestershire, ENGLAND - MAY 21, 2008
Bottle. Golden coloured with a frothy white head that left plenty of lacing down the glass. Aroma of sweetish malt, honey and grassy hops. Flavour was sweet, with some apricot fruit and a slightly spicy hop finish. Pretty good.
