500ml vom Fass at the brewpub – and a few more during our stay at the guesthouse. Chalk white head disappearing over a crystal clear golden coloured body. Herbal hops and pale malty smell. Mid-sweet pale malty flavours mixed with noble bitter hops towards the ending. Fine bodied. Clean and refreshing. Decent pils (first drink on a trip to Bamberg 09.10.2014).

Moravius (1210) - Beijing, CHINA - MAY 13, 2014
UPDATED: MAY 25, 2014 Flasche (50 cl) von Hopfen & Malz.

Draft at Fassla - Bamberg. Pours clear, yellow-gold with a white froth topping. The nose is all pale biscuits, grass and cereal. Light sweet flavor, very crisp, with more crunchy cereal and mild bitterness. Light bodied with average carbonation. Very clean on the finish with crispy cereal, faint hay. Lovely. Great beer first thing in the morning.
