Jonb5 (576) - Greater London, ENGLAND - APR 27, 2012
On tap, served into half litre pils glass. Pale colour, large foamy head, clear. Noble hop smell, fairly fresh, reminded me of a north german pils. Tasted a nice balanced hoppy bitterness, nutty aftertaste. Mouthfull had a bit of fiz but was easy to drink. Standard refreshing pils, more like something you find in north germany.

Hermod (8509) - Vantaa, FINLAND - MAR 3, 2012
50cl bottle. BBE 03/2012. Poured clear golden with a creamy, lacing white head. Aroma is grainy malty, herbs and hops. Flavor has lots of grain, light sweetness, decent bitterness, dry finish. Great pilsener, but this was bit too old. Fresh or from the tap this would be awesome.

Braudog (6900) - Yorktown, Virginia, USA - DEC 11, 2011
Draft at the brewpub, more than one to cap a glorious day of beer hunting in Bamberg. This a tight, golden brew, with a taut Teutonic character. Good enough to keep drinking while making new friends. (#4394, 12/2/2011)

ogreface (1390) - Budapest, HUNGARY - DEC 7, 2011

Embrouille (2854) - SWITZERLAND - NOV 16, 2011
Bottled 50cl. Keeping it short. The best pils in the side-by-side tasting. Very pleasant.
