50cl bottle @ Bamberg. Pours clear yellow with a small creamy white head. Lots of freshness in this one. Crisp, nice hop profile and dry. A bit of bread, herbal and grainy notes. Very nice and tasty.

Draught, as "Pils". Clear pale golden colour. Frothy white head. Metallic aroma. Not very malty. Medium to high bitterness, a bit rough. Thin mouthfeel.

Bottled, 500ml, pasteurised from REAL Supermarket, Bamberg. Gold with white head. High carbonation within the beer, cardboardy and tinny notes to the fore, simple malt beer with a lack of flavour to push it to a higher level. Dull and boring in the bottle.

(6/31/08) Draught at the brewpub in Bamberg. Clear golden. Aroma has some malt, quite a bit of grassy hops and butterscotch. Sweetish flavor with some butterscotch hints and a bitter hoppy finish. Medium-bodied.

This is just an outstanding, outstanding pils. you could tell it was as fresh as it possibly could be. It is hoppy and delicious, the best Pils I have ever had.

Light peacharoma. Light malty, peachy flavor. A more noticeable hopbitterness, especially unvealing itself in the aftertaste. Hints of metal.

500ml vom Fass at the brewpub – and a few more during our stay at the guesthouse. Chalk white head disappearing over a crystal clear golden coloured body. Herbal hops and pale malty smell. Mid-sweet pale malty flavours mixed with noble bitter hops towards the ending. Fine bodied. Clean and refreshing. Decent pils (first drink on a trip to Bamberg 09.10.2014).
