50cl bottle @ Bamberg. Pours clear yellow with a small creamy white head. Lots of freshness in this one. Crisp, nice hop profile and dry. A bit of bread, herbal and grainy notes. Very nice and tasty. MiP (16054) - Sønderborg, DENMARK - AUG 22, 2006
Draught, as "Pils". Clear pale golden colour. Frothy white head. Metallic aroma. Not very malty. Medium to high bitterness, a bit rough. Thin mouthfeel. imdownthepub (15517) - Banbury, Oxfordshire, ENGLAND - OCT 16, 2008
Bottled, 500ml, pasteurised from REAL Supermarket, Bamberg. Gold with white head. High carbonation within the beer, cardboardy and tinny notes to the fore, simple malt beer with a lack of flavour to push it to a higher level. Dull and boring in the bottle. Light peacharoma. Light malty, peachy flavor. A more noticeable hopbitterness, especially unvealing itself in the aftertaste. Hints of metal. Rune (13720) - Tromsø, NORWAY - OCT 21, 2014
500ml vom Fass at the brewpub – and a few more during our stay at the guesthouse. Chalk white head disappearing over a crystal clear golden coloured body. Herbal hops and pale malty smell. Mid-sweet pale malty flavours mixed with noble bitter hops towards the ending. Fine bodied. Clean and refreshing. Decent pils (first drink on a trip to Bamberg 09.10.2014).
