Gold color with greenish tinge.Faintly sweet malt/honey nose. Dry, malty flavor with a good hop bite dhurtubise (568) - Hamilton, Ontario, CANADA - JUL 3, 2003
Nothing but grass in the aroma, though the flavour is extremely pleasant. A beer to be drunk by the barel. It has a simple interesting flavor profile with grassy hops and malt synergy just about perfect. JorisPPattyn (10005) - Ursel, BELGIUM - SEP 20, 2005
Draught Fully celar gold; small, very fast dwindling transparant white head. Sweet, very malty nose, nearly honey-ish. Estery! Dry-opening Pilsner with (very) far away hops, discreetly German. Light but with a certain grist-body. Feels more bodied than I estimate it probably. Not very outstanding. Good but nowhere outstanding. Less hoppy character than the Lager! Bottle. Pours clear yellow with a white head. Aroma of grains, breads, lots of caramel, light citrus. Old bread, and touch too much caramel. Wish this was a bit younger. SinH4 (4798) - Garching b. München, GERMANY - AUG 7, 2016
Wooden barrel at the brewery. Golden color with white head. Aroma is pale malts, earthy hops, butter. Taste is buttery, nourishing, earthy hops. Natural carbonation. Unspectacular but solid.

This beer is bright gold in color and in taste as well. It has a definite hop bitterness to it with an accompanying mild maltiness to it. It finishes with a nice hop bite to it. schuim (36) - NETHERLANDS - NOV 19, 2003
It looks like a good pilsener and smells like it to. Nice hoparoma but than the taste, it is hard. I almost want to stop drinking it halfway the glass. This is not my kind of beer. jonas (7588) - Garching b. München, GERMANY - MAR 14, 2004
UPDATED: MAR 26, 2006 Sampled from tap at Fässla. Low level pils aroma, but mostly malt as in a Helles.
Pale golden low carbonation, low white creamy head.
Malty base, a bit papery
cookie malt, and light bitterhop aftertaste.
Aceptable fresh, average pils otherwise.

Draught, as "Pils". Clear pale golden colour. Frothy white head. Metallic aroma. Not very malty. Medium to high bitterness, a bit rough. Thin mouthfeel. Jukkabro (3484) - Tampere, FINLAND - AUG 27, 2007
Light yellow colored, little white head. Lemony pils aroma with standard German hops. Thin to medium bodied. Flavor is also crispily hopped with good German fruity touch. Aftertaste is very strongly hopped. Rather one-dimensional, still I’m fan of these pilseners.
