-A ring of foam stands above the transparent golden.
-Dry hay and herbal supporting hops make up most of the flavor profile.
-Very clean and lean-bodied, very drinkable.
-Aroma and flavor are consequential, no surprises here.
-Herbal hop bitterness lingers amicably.
On tap a couple of times at the brewery.
On tap at the brewery. Frothy, white head, which diminishes mostly. Clear, yellow body. Aroma of light hops. Lightly bitter initial flavour, moderately bitter finish. Nice, refreshing pilsener, but not fancy or superinteresting. DonMagi (5593) - bantervile, Bedfordshire, ENGLAND - AUG 18, 2007
Aroma is slightly grainy, honey, tree bark, grassy hop with a small hint of baked bean. Taste is a good mixture of malts, balanced honey, grainy sweetness with grassy and hints of peppery hop. Dry finish. Dedollewaitor (16171) - Odense, DENMARK - JUL 16, 2009

Bottle from Fristo Getränkemarkt in Bamberg. The beer has got a clear deep golden colour with an steady low head and medium body. Aroma of hops and straw, followed by a taste of mild, yet bitter hops, light malt, bread, barley, grass and mild citrus fruits. Refreshing and easy drinkable with quite a high carbonation. Good and solid beer. TAR (2765) - Blue Ridge Mountains, North Carolina, USA - JUL 22, 2016
Draft at Brauerei Fässla: Luminous flaxen golden. Pleasant but simple aroma of lemon zest, honeysuckle and toasted hay. Soft carbonation sits snugly on the tongue. Subtle lemony acidity precedes a vibrant grassy hop expression. Mineralic and snappy, though a mild note of DMS (lettuce) muddles things. Crackery pils malt is gently glazed with sugar and aside from a very minor grainy brashness, is polished and nicely textured. Cleanly bitter finish is pleasantly coarse in its leafiness, with lingering lemon balm and lemon pulp. Slippery residue lasts well into the aftertaste to plague the malt structure. While this - or any Fässla product, for that matter - isn’t something I seek when in Bamberg, it’s far from unpleasant. Aside from a few minor imperfections and being overly restrained, it’s highly drinkable, with an appealing softness and good hop flavor. Serviceable. On tap: The aroma consists of mild sweet cereal notes, grass, and a hint of lemon. It’s a transparent gold with a large white head that fades to a thin film outlined by a slightly thicker ring
There is some sporadic soapy webbing left on the sides of the glass. The flavor starts with mild cereal notes and a hint of honey. The finish has light-moderate grass with just a hint of lemon. It’s light bodied with light-moderate carbonation.
