Cycled into town (Bamberg) from our campsite just outside at Bug 17-06-10 had this at the site of the recently closed local Maisel’s brewery. Pours clean gold in colour with a white head that departs swiftly. Some sweetness in mouth a little thin on first taste but its ok. On tap, served into half litre pils glass. Pale colour, large foamy head, clear. Noble hop smell, fairly fresh, reminded me of a north german pils. Tasted a nice balanced hoppy bitterness, nutty aftertaste. Mouthfull had a bit of fiz but was easy to drink. Standard refreshing pils, more like something you find in north germany.
