A golden beer with a fine white head. The aroma is sweet with strong notes of grain, caramel, and grass - very fresh. The flavor is sweet malty at first with notes of caramel and grain, but these are soon overpowered by strong grassy and hoppy notes, that carries thru to a quite bitter end. joergen (28377) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - AUG 29, 2005

Bamberg Bash Day 2. On tap at the Brewpub come comfortable hotel. Clear gold beer, small white head. Smooth palate with mild minerally carbonation. Smooth malt but rich and a little creamy. Whisper of vanilla (think Colin dug this out and then of course, as soon as he said it, it was obvious). Very light touch of hops. Finishes lightly crisp. Nice.
Draft at Fassla - Bamberg. Pouors clear, rich gold with a creamy, white head. Lovely stuff, lots of tasty, lightly toasted cereals, hints of caramelised sugar. Light bodied with average carbonation. Crisp finish with nice, crunchy cereal character. Lovely and very drinkable.
