500 ml bottle @ Gastropub Tuulensuu, Tampere.
Pours a brown colour with a small foamy head. Aroma of quite heavy nutty malts and brown sugar. Flavour of nutty malts, brown sugar, grassy hops, metals and raisins. Quite dry and somewhat sticky mouthfeel with a finish of malts. Nice one.

50 cl bottle, BBE 15.09.2011
Aroma has bready, sweetish malt and some metal. Flavour has lots of sweetish and bready malt with hints of metal. Good dunkel, but the metalliness disturbs a bit.

0.5L bottle @Plan B, shared with larsga, Rune and GrOve. A lightly tanned head over a clear copper colored body. Slight metallic, dusty/papery hops and dry caramelly dark malts in the aroma. Medium sweet and medium full malt body. Caramel tones, and some fine earthy and grassy hops. Dry, bitterish ending. A decent Dunkel.

fiulijn (19831) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - JUN 25, 2011
Bottle from Markgrafen, Bamberg
Dark chestnut color, clean; generous, compact head. Aroma of caramel, paper, cereals, light vanilla (not impressive). Correct body; the mild flavor of dark caramel is dry and quite poor; the bitterness is low and some comes from the roasted malt. The final is empty from any emotion. Boring.

larsga (7385) - Oslo, NORWAY - JUN 18, 2011
Medium beige head. Slightly hazy brown body with light lazy carbonation. Grainy caramelly aroma with grassy notes. Dry-sweetish caramelly toffee taste with grassy notes. Mid-bodied. Dry-sweetish dusty grassy aftertaste with oily buttery herbal notes. Highly drinkable session beer. (0.5l bottle at DBF’11. Also had it at brewpub, but that was before I started rating.)
