Sigmund (8010) - Tau, NORWAY - JUN 7, 2013
Shared 500 ml swingtop bottle, thanks to gunnar who brought it fresh from Bamberg. ABV is 6.0%. Amber / reddish brown colour, moderate white head. Unusual "wet wool" or "damp closet" aroma, weak caramel malts in the background. The flavour is moderately malty with a little caramel, but is not very sweet. The aroma blends in with the flavour in an unpleasant way.

Holmen1 (6626) - Stavanger, NORWAY - JUN 7, 2013

evergreen0199 (3561) - Northwood, Greater London, ENGLAND - MAY 29, 2013
Draught at Brauerei Fassla, Bamberg, Germany. An amber coloured pour with a medium off white head on top. Fruity, malty aroma. Tastes malty, caramel, dark fruit.

500ml bottle (CWAF2013, Thurs)
Rich malty aroma. Big malty body. Full malty finish. As a malt-head, this pressed my buttons and gave me everything I want in a dunkel.

Kita (2299) - Koper, SLOVENIA - JAN 13, 2013
Bottled, 0.50l. Clear amber brown color with thick tan-like head and lively bubbles. Aroma of malt, caramel, yeast, grassy hops and banana. Taste starts sour grassy, then followed by sweeter (but not much) dandelion syrup, while finished hoppy and relatively rich malty. Medium body, slick texture and average carbonation in palate. Interesting name, interesting beer, at least better than common German helles...

Russo (2013) - Hemhofen, GERMANY - DEC 31, 2012
Dark reddish color with a thin off-white head, Aroma is roast malt hints slightly sweet. Flavor is sweet caramel with some bitterness at end.Mouthfeel is short and quite metallic bitterness.

bartlebier (4214) - Belchium im Biersgau, GERMANY - DEC 24, 2012
0,50 cl bottle Maruhn - dark, not much foam, some roast, no alcohol, but very flat and stale: drinkable, but not much of a pleasurable drink (cf. The tasty Weissenoher Dunkel)
