Bottled, 0.50l. Clear amber brown color with thick tan-like head and lively bubbles. Aroma of malt, caramel, yeast, grassy hops and banana. Taste starts sour grassy, then followed by sweeter (but not much) dandelion syrup, while finished hoppy and relatively rich malty. Medium body, slick texture and average carbonation in palate. Interesting name, interesting beer, at least better than common German helles... Bierkrug (2129) - - DEC 26, 2011
500 ml bottle picked up at Maruhn in Darmstadt, Germany. Is a dark clear tea color with a little tan head. Soft aroma with lots of roasted caramel. Also soft sweet taste with more of rostedness, caramel and some dark fruit. Palate is very light and easy to drink. Nice brew.
