Sulphur aroma like the other beers from Fassla. Maybe with a hint of toffee hidden somewhere. More toffee and some malts in the flavor. Not at all a bad beer.
Clear mahogany with a medium off white head. Sweet aroma with roasted malt, caramel and hints of hops. Flavour had roasted malt, caramel, grassy hops and toffee. Finished dry and bitter. Nekronos (4175) - Xalapa, MEXICO - MAR 19, 2011

Medium beige head. Slightly hazy brown body with light lazy carbonation. Grainy caramelly aroma with grassy notes. Dry-sweetish caramelly toffee taste with grassy notes. Mid-bodied. Dry-sweetish dusty grassy aftertaste with oily buttery herbal notes. Highly drinkable session beer. (0.5l bottle at DBF’11. Also had it at brewpub, but that was before I started rating.) Dark wood colour. Wee beige head. Nose develops hops and nuts. Slick and velvety. Light-medium body. Malty bit light metallic on the palate. Finish is balanced and soft.

On tap at the brewpub. Light malty smell with some light caramel. Similar taste, quite sweet. Easy to drink. Best of the beers at this brewery. But Fässla stood out as the worst of the Bamberg breweries. Mortlach (2335) - Rome, ITALY - SEP 4, 2015
500ml bottle, gift from ippopotamo36 (thanks Alberto!). Pours amber with a little off-white head. Aroma of bread, toasted malts, caramel, a bit boring. Flavour is medium to light sweet with a light bitter end. Medium body, light carbonation. Ok.
