Nashville, Tn. Fat Bottom Brewery - on tap.Pours a jet black with a light tan colored head. Solid aroma of roasted coffee and fresh, rich moist dirt. Good bitter roasted notes with a rich malty undertone. Solid earthy flavor, Quite nice. Mouthfeel is kind of dry, they way I like it in a stout. radagast83 (8193) - Arlington, Virginia, USA - JUN 15, 2015
Somewhere between a 2 and 4oz pour at SAVOR 2015’s Saturday night session. Poured a hazy dark, almost pitch black color with a small light brown head. Aroma was roasted malts, notes of chocolate, oats. Flavor was roasted, chocolate. Pretty tasty. Sessionable. decaturstevo (6342) - decatur, Tennessee, USA - MAR 22, 2014

Lighter than I expected, lighter than Left Hand’s or Samuel Smith’s. More like a dark lager. Smooth, I will give it that, but I wanted more.

Pours a dark, thick black. sadly disappointing. Watery and tasteless. Bland and plain.
