BeardedAvenger (1332) - Addlestone, Surrey, ENGLAND - JAN 24, 2018
Cask at PoW, Farnborough. Quite a bland aroma - some malts. Light-medium chestnut. Thin bubbly head. Light bitter. Some chocolate, coffee and malts. Gains some spice as I gulp it down. Medium-thivk bodied. Slick verging on creamy. Flat carb. A touvh of astringent to the finish. OK. Pretty bland but then quite solid in terms of body and texture. Like an underpowered stout.

3.2

Cask at the Fat Cat Tap, Norwich. It pours deep brown with a bubbly beige head. The aroma is earthy roast, coffee, earth, cocoa powder and charred wood. The taste is smooth, bitter - sweet, earthy roast, cocoa, malt loaf, coffee grounds and wood with a dry finish. Medium body and soft carbonation. A decent mild.

Cask (Fat Cat, Norwich) (6+:4:6:3:12=3.1+)
Lovely deep red, small brief head. Pleasant sweet burnt caramel aroma. Flattish smooth palate. Simple milky black tea taste, some burnt caramel, a little disappointing for a dark mild, but still not bad.

3.4
Leighton (23107) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - MAY 26, 2014
Cask at CBC Clerkenwell - London. Pours clear russet-brown with a fine, creamy beige head. Pleasant aroma with lightly aged berries and touches of brown bread. Light sweet flavor with lightly toasted malts and grains, hints of dusty cocoa, mild leafy bitterness, leathery berries. Light jodied with fine carbonation; good condition. Nicely balanced to finish with fruity and bready sweetness, and offsetting dry leafy bitterness. Decent.

maeib (8749) - Wootton, Northampton, Northamptonshire, ENGLAND - JUL 11, 2012
Cask conditioned handpump Queen Adelaide Northampton 11/07/12. A dark ruby coloured beer with a whitish head and lacing. Starts really rich with chocolate, coffee and fruity notes. Has a milky texture, but then shallows out. Has good promise but then fails to deliver.

3.3
