UPDATED: APR 4, 2007 Bottle shared with HogTownHarry, blankboy, jerc & tupalev - courtesy of blankboy. I, uh, can’t find my notes on this one, so I just took the word of the other guys and averaged out their scores. :)

Bottle (660ml) shared with HogTownHarry, GregClow, tupalev & jerc -- my bottle courtesy of CapFlu. Vintage ? Pours a clear ruby-orange with a large off-white head. Nice aroma of caramel malt, fruit, vanilla, some hops, wood and alcohol. Flavour of caramel malt, hops, dark fruit, vanilla and alcohol -- very tasty stuff! Alcohol’s present but doesn’t taste like 12%. Good body for the style. I really liked this, well done!

Bottled. Beer no. 15 @ American Blind III. Orange/amber coloured. Unclear. Dense off white head. Sweetness, pine, alcohol, fruits and light citrus in the aroma. Flavour is quite spiced, has some light fruits and herbal notes. .Alcohol is notable but not dominating. Nice balanced. Is medium to full bodied. Quite dry. Alcohol, spice, sweetnees and some bitterness in the end. Nice.

Bottle. [Blind tasting session @ Sk8viking] #15 Average fizzy white head that was mostly diminishing. Good lacing. Clear sparkling body with an amber hue. Aroma was bread, caramel, grain, toffee, toasted, dry fruit and light notes of hops. Full bodied with a slightly alcoholic texture and a soft carbonation. Moderated sweet flavor with balancing burned and hoppy bitter notes. Sweet and long lasting finish. More of that please.

Ungstrup (38215) - Citizen of the universe, DENMARK - MAR 25, 2007
Bottled. An unclear amber beer with a thick orange head. The aroma is sweet malty with strong notes of hops and caramel, and the flavor is sweet malty with strong notes of grapefruit, leading to a dry bitter end. Nice thick body.

HogTownHarry (7064) - Toronto (Harbourfront), Ontario, CANADA - JAN 16, 2007
UPDATED: JAN 17, 2007 Bottle (660ml - 2005 bottle). Shared with biegaman and viggo, viggo’s bottle. Hazy orange, decent off-white foamy/creamy head. Odd aroma - alcohol, oak, vanilla, tangerine, mild solids, fruits and perfumey hops. Smooth flavour, very juicy and buttery (in a good way) - lovely sweet citrus finish. Solid body, sweet, boozy and smooth as all hell. Great barley wine.
