Sampled on draft at 3R6P this beer poured a caramel-brown color with a medium sized creamy tan head that lingered and left good lacing. The aroma was sweet honey, bread and faint golden fruits. The flavor was very sweet sugar, honey, tangy candied golden fruits, strong bread and hints of pepper and rye. Long tangy sugar and bread finish. Full bodied and smooth. Well done. pottygok (548) - Ohio, USA - DEC 6, 2012
Aroma: Bubblegum, caramel malts, and hints of pepper at the edges.
Appearance: Cloudy brown with a thin, tan head.
Taste: Light-medium creamy sweetness all the way through.
Palate: Medium body, creamy texture, flat carbonation, long soft finish.
Overall: It’s a good beer, just not at all what I was expecting, so I’m a bit disappointed. Still, it’s a nice, creamy beer with a solid flavor. JaBier (7973) - Capital City, Ohio, USA - JAN 30, 2013
Pint at World of Beer Easton on 1/10/13. Clear copper pour with a thick off-white head. Aroma of malt, candy sweetness and spicy rye. Malty flavor with some banana sweetness and spicy rye before a crisp hop finish. douglas88 (9192) - Portland, Oregon, USA - MAR 4, 2013
On tap at Fat Heads. Pours a dark copper color with a medium white head. A big fruity and spicy nose. A unique and different take on the Saison, big spicy rye, some rich berries, earthy, loads of dry yeast. Bready. Good. b3shine (8875) - Indiana, USA - JAN 22, 2013
Draft to snifter. Looks good; a semi-transparent amberish-brown with foamy off-white head. Smells solid; bubblegum, spice, and dough. Tastes like it smells with some banana. Good on the palate with a nice rye tingle. A really good saison.

Tap. Poured a hazy copper color with an average frothy off-white head that mostly lasted with good lacing. Moderate earthy, rye and yeast aroma. Medium body with a smooth texture and soft carbonation. Medium to heavy bittersweet flavor with a medium to heavy yeast bittersweet finish of moderate duration. I would recommend this to a friend.

Poured on draft at fat heads Pittsburgh. Pours a murky amber color with little head. The aroma is mildly fruity and spicy. The rye comes through pretty strongly. Taste is sweet and spicy. Medium mouthfeel and hefty body. Nice sipper. LilBeerDoctor (3931) - Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA - DEC 16, 2012
On tap at Fat Heads Pittsburgh. Pours a dark red brown with a thin white head. Aroma of Belgian yeast, clove, melon, light spices. Flavor of sweet bready malt, spices, yeast. Perhaps a slight rye presence, but it’s slight. More of a Belgian ale than saison. It’s tasty and drinkable though.

Tap at Lizardville RR, wow that is quite a spicy rye bite. nicely cooled off by the saison yeast, not a lot of farmhouse more bubble and esther type flavor.. quite good, and interesting. Dogbrick (13018) - Columbus, Ohio, USA - DEC 26, 2012
Sample at the brewpub. The beer is a clear dark amber orange color with a medium off-white head that dissipates steadily to a film. Strings of lacing on the glass. Aroma of yeast, malt and ripe fruit. Medium body with flavors of peppery yeast, stone fruit and rye malt. The finish is fruity up front with a mildly bitter spiced rye aftertaste. Above average overall.
