Enjoyable. Nice malt flavor with decent hop punch. No citrus flavors with these hops. Different flavor profile than apa or ipa but nice all the same, not as bold.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Tap at Fat Heads - North Olmstead. Deep amber pour. The nose is softly earthy with a kiss of light noble hops. Softly sweet with a fresh sweet malty character. Light noble hops with a soft fresh herbal hoppiness. Very clean and fresh with a very crisp, firm bitterness. Well-balanced.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
On tap at Fat Heads in Cleveland. Pours a pretty deep copper with a thin head and aromas of caramel and herbal hops. Flavor has a strangely abrasive hops presence that gains steam and buries the malt as it develops on the palate.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Growler brought back by a friend. Pours a clear reddish copper with a huge beige head. Caramel malt nose with a noble hop balance. Flavor also begins with caramel and has a bitter earthy hop finish that was a tad more aggressive than I expected based on the nose.

3.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Matt has a way with German styles, and he nailed this one. Clear deep amber pour, thick head with nice lacing. Toasty/malty aromas with some green hop aroma. Smooth flavor, the malt shines and with a big bitterness at the back end balancing it out. Very good stuff that I could drink lots of.
