Tap, brown pour, tan head, nose and taste are super coffee, espresso, rich, pretty solid Beerman6686 (6607) - Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA - DEC 17, 2014
This poured a dark brown with a beige head. Aroma was of fresh brewed coffee, chocolate syrup and roasted malt. Flavor was mocha and medium roast. Smooth frothy and tasty. FROTHINGSLOSH (7796) - GREENSBURG, Pennsylvania, USA - NOV 30, 2014
Sampled on draft at 3R6P this beer poured a black color with a large foamy beige head that lingered and left exceptional lacing. The aroma was strong ground coffee and cream. The flavor was fairly sweet coffee, vanilla cream and a bit of toasty malts. Very long sweet coffee and cream finish. Moderately full bodied. Quite nice. bnokk (535) - Lee, Massachusetts, USA - NOV 14, 2014
Super black - no surprise there. The scent ism what you'd expect for a stout, and has a slightly odd note to it. The flavor isn't as strong of coffee (or anything else) that you'd expect. The alcohol is a bit evident in each sip. Overall, I'm not as impressed as I expected from the name, descriptions, or prior ratings. alexsdad06 (10430) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - NOV 13, 2014
Draft at Dutch’s shared by Tmoney99. Pours dark brown to black in color with a small beige head. The aroma and flavor have sweet malts, coffee, light roast, soft finish, a bit too sweet and not enough coffee pop. Give me their hoppy stuff any day.

UPDATED: APR 28, 2015 Pint on tap at Dutch’s. Near-black color. Thin khaki head. Decent dots and bits of lace, kind of loose. Satisfying big coffee aroma -- mild roast, more on the sweet side. Butterscotch, berry type coffee flavors. Mild milk chocolate. Bigger sweet taste, kind of tingly sweet on the back end, mild bitter. Medium plus body. Kind of slick. Lighter kind of soft crisp carbonation. A decent coffee stout overall, with a satisfying amount of (interesting) coffee flavor, but it’s a bit too sweet for me. I prefer a more dry coffee stout, like Stone’s Coffee Milk Stout. 7/3/6/4/13 hypn0toad (267) - Maryland, USA - MAY 11, 2013
Update rate, 4/28/15: Few visits to this, on tap at Dutch’s again. Black color, with a thin khaki head, leaving great thick ridges of lace and swaths of lace. The coffee is great in this. Good creme type flavor to it too. A bit sweeter, but not bothering me as much as it seemed to last round. Enjoyable enough to keep me coming back.
Dark and stormy. Not bad. Unfortunately served in a tiny glass. Pretty heavy on the coffee and smoke beachbum25 (1092) - Powellville, Maryland, USA - DEC 27, 2012
Growler from miketd, Pepsiedcan’s Growler Swap Part Awsome-Dark pour w/no head. Strong coffee aroma. Strong coffee flavor, a little chocolate & roasted malt mixed in as well, but mostly coffee. One of the stronger coffee flavor brews I’ve had. Could almost use a bit more malt/alcohol to smooth it out just a bit, thought it was a tad bitter, but still a very nice brew. Thanks Mike pottygok (548) - Ohio, USA - JUL 16, 2012
Aroma: Smells like a fresh pot of coffee with hints of chocolate and possibly sugar. Appearance: Black with a tan head that dissipates quickly. Taste: Slight bitterness with a light sweetness to balance. Palate: Medium-full body, watery texture, soft carbonation, long finish. Overall: If this wasn’t carbonated, I would swear I was drinking iced coffee. Now, that being said, the coffee may have been a bit overpowering, but I still think this works as a beer. UPDATED: NOV 13, 2014 Draft sample. Poured clear dark brown color with an average brown creamy head that mostly lasted with good lacing. Moderate ground coffee and chocolate aroma. Medium to full body with a smooth texture and flat carbonation. Medium to heavy roasted coffee balanced flavor with a medium bittersweet finish of moderate to long duration. This beer would go well with a cigar.
