COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Traditional German styled wheat beer served unfiltered. Hazy straw colored beer that hints at banana and clove complexity as all Hefe Weizens do. This thirst quencher drinks so easy it may fog your goggles.

Pours a hazy golden straw color. Aroma is light and sweet with honey and banana. Flavor is exactly what you want from a hefe: light but not too light. Sweet, but not too sweet. Very easy drinking.

[2/23/15] Draught at Fat Head’s in Portland. Cloudy grayish yellow. Pleasant banana and bubblegum aroma with clove notes. Sweetish flavor with banana, bubblegum, citrus, a bit of graininess, and some phenolic spiciness, especially towards the finish. Medium-bodied. Decent.

Probably the best hefeweizen I’ve ever had. Really cloudy and massive wheat taste. I mean it just sticks.

phaleslu (10461) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - SEP 16, 2014
Draft at Cincy Beerfest 2014 on Fountain Square. Pours a hazed orange-gold with a finger of frothy off-white head. Notes of banana, clove, wheat, caramel, and some sweet and dried fruits. Medium-bodied, with medium soft carbonation and a sweet, wheaty mouthfeel. Right on the money. Very nice American take on a hefe.

Taster at beerfest - nose is banana and clove with emphasis on clove. Sip adds wheat. Tasty and true to style. Sweet with short finish.

Tap, from ratings backlog. Pours cloudy pale golden, medium white creamy head, good lacing. Aroma is pretty classic: wheat, banana, clove, lemon. Flavor is light sweet, minimal bitterness. Light body, champagnelike carbonation. About as good as I have had for the style.

On draft at Alexandria’s in Findlay. Pours a mostly hazy yellow with a white head. Nose is some bread, some light yeasty sweetness, some banana, some orange. Flavor is similar- bread, banana, lemon, and slight pepper with hints of hops. Light in body, poundable, and freaking tasty.
