Bottle. Slightly hazy, yellow-orange, with a thin but very sticky head. Very enticing milky, hoppy aroma. Drinks with a silky smooth hoppy essence, a hint of pine, a hint of citrus. Exceptionally well balanced. (#5008, 5/5/2013) djd07 (15547) - Houston, Texas, USA - MAY 2, 2013
Bottle as shown. Pours a cloudy gold with small frothy white head leaving spotty lacing. The aroma is a strong floral hop and pine. Medium mouthfeel with a strong hop bite and grapefruit. Easy to drink, a very good IPA from Fat Heads. dbarnold (1127) - Bethesda, Maryland, USA - APR 29, 2013
Exactly what an IPA is supposed to be. Pale, big bitter piney nose with a little citrus. Palate is thin, supper bitter with a quick dry finish. Strong stuff. 574deadzone (1419) - North Central, Indiana, USA - APR 28, 2013
Pours a slightly hazy honey-gold with a tight-bubbled, creamy off-white head that settles quickly and leaves some spotty lace. Powerful, hop forward nose involving grapefruit, mango, pineapple, pine sap, and passion fruit all cranked to eleven along with some honey, biscuit, and toasted malt notes. Pretty sweet flavor-wise but very bitter. Medium bodied, oily, actively carbed, bright, with a long, luxurious bitter pine finish. Goddamn awesome. johnnnniee (4408) - Bedford, New Hampshire, USA - APR 28, 2013
Received in trade from cpetrone84, thanks for the opportunity.
Pours a clear deep golden color with a decent white head that slowly dissipates to a ring on top. Smells of citrus, pine, resin, dankness, and a hint of green onion with a solid bread and light caramel to back it up. The flavor sweet enough to remind you that this is beer with hints of brown bread and light sugar and a boatload of dank hoppy goodness. Resinous pine with hints of garlic and green onion and a light bit of citrus with a moderate level of hop bitterness. Medium body with a moderate level of carbonation and a sweet resinous mouthfeel. This is a really nice IPA, I’m glad I got to try it.

Bottle. Clear golden orange, excellent foam that never fully dissipates and laces the glass well. Aroma is an even blend of pine and citrus. Taste is sharply bitter along with musty, grainy notes from the malt. Bitterness lingers long in the finish. Overall, incredible aromas, one of the best if you like IPAs bold and extra bitter, although it is a little too much for my taste. tcane7 (1674) - Pennsylvania, USA - APR 24, 2013
Bottle with Chris. Pours a cloudy golden orange with beige head and solid lace. Nose of grapefruit, pine, caramel, peach and tangerine. Medium body with a nice bitter finish. theorean (1) - Berea, Alabama, USA - APR 21, 2013 does not count
This IPA is great on tap or in the bottle. One of my top 2 favorite IPA’s along with Brewkettle’s White Rajah. TaktikMTL (7981) - Montréal, Quebec, CANADA - APR 16, 2013

UPDATED: APR 15, 2013 Draft. Smack my face this is an aggressive beer. The appearance is standard and the aroma has the citrus qualities you expect but the taste is upfront and very flavorful. High bitterness yet balanced. The greenness of the hops can seem like a gimmick in most beers but not this one as it blends in nicely with all the other ingredients. A memorable beer.
