Thanks to Eric aka spoolinvw for giving me a fresh bottle of Head Hunter. I have always had terrible luck trying to find fresh bottles of this one, glad to finally try the real deal.
A - Pours clear golden orange with a nice one finger tall white head leaving light lace down parts of the glass.
S - Smells of pungent citric hops, grass, tropical fruits - mostly grapefruit and oranges - pine resin and only the faintest hint of caramel sweetness. This one has once intense nose to it.
T - Starts off with a ton of bright citric hop bitterness mixed with some juicy grapefruit tartness slowly giving way to hints of pine resin, grass and some mild caramel sweetness. Finish is fairly bitter, lingering on the palate for quite awhile after the finish.
M - Medium body with moderate carbonation. Smooth, oily feel with a ton of bitterness from start to finish.
O - This is one awesome IPA. I could drink a few of these no problem. When fresh this is definitely one of the better IPA’s on the market today.
I’m not specifically a fan of west coast style iPas but this beer is so smooth it more than makes up for any conflicts in preference. Very enjoyable summer beer. BeerdedDave (1850) - Beckley, USA - AUG 15, 2017
clear, amber color; beautiful citrus hop aroma; fantastic citrusy hop flavor with some pine notes; an assertive West Coast IPA; fairly light malt background lets the hops shine; outstanding chucklemation (1735) - Royal Oak, Michigan, USA - JUN 25, 2017

Pours an orange-yellow with little white head.
Beautiful citrus favor; bursts of grapefruit with lime and orange not far behind. Slight malt that perfectly compliments the intense, hoppy profile of this fantastic IPA.
Would order again, and again.. and again.... aaand again.
Refreshing, diverse, genius.

Draft in the Philly Airport. Fruity and juicy nose, with apricot, orange, cream, spearmint, resin, pine. Bitter, fresh, juicy finish. About as good as an IPA gets these days. Itzjerm (3056) - Taft, Tennessee, USA - MAY 4, 2017
This IPA is spot on. Nose is clear American hops. Taste is sweet and hoppy hop candy with minimal bitterness. Perect body. Really an excellent. IPA.

Growler from Trenton Road Takeout in Falsington, PA. Bright Amber gold topped by a small frothy beige head. Fragrant citrus hop nose explodes on the pour. Wonderful buttery, toasted malt flavor upfront. Then comes the rush of citrus and pine hops. Bitter, yet not over done. Complex and spicy with notes of mango, pineapple and tangerine. Finish becomes peppery with pine and grapefruit notes. Just a splendid example of a West Coast style IPA. Worth seeking out. MacNJ (103) - New Jersey, USA - MAR 3, 2017
Poured into a pint glass from a growler. Hoppy nose, white head, light brown/golden hue, and cobweb lacing. Incredible hop taste that is both citrus and dank, earthy herb. One of the best; in my upper tier with Bells Two-Hearted and Stone IPA. A good deal at Pinnochio’s in Media, PA. Cheers! unclefrito62 (303) - Stow, Ohio, USA - FEB 26, 2017
Draft at Winking Lizard Macedonia. Not much aroma Deep golden straw in color. Taste the hops not over whelming. Carbonated on the palate and above average for the style.
