(From a growler) This beer starts with an interesting aroma. There’s hints of spice, and sugar. It pours a clear straw, with a full (if small for the style) white head. Nice clean flavor, with a strong sweetness from candi sugar noticeable. Light on the palate, and the alcohol is not noticeable. This is a nice dangerous, drinkable Tripel.
12 ounce bottle poured into a brandy snifter. The beer is a clear gold with a white head of foam. Good head retention. The aroma has sweet honey and grainy notes. Light woody notes with hints at honeycomb. Sticky sweet taste. Medium body and moderate carbonation. Sticky mouthfeel. scotchzombie (608) - Raleigh, North Carolina, USA - FEB 4, 2017
Golden honey with a huge foamy white head. Bananas, clove, yeast aroma. Taste follows but spicy and amps the yeast, trading banana for bubblegum. Sweet with mild bitter to close. Very tasty.

Draft pour dark gold with orange hue and thin white head. Nose lots of Belgian ester, clove, spice, hint of banana and fruit. Taste similar to nose. Nice spice, balance by sweet malt. Spiciness continues through the finish. Light heat from the alcohol. Ron (4088) - Rochester, New York, USA - AUG 21, 2015
On tap at the Brewpub with the Ohio gang. Poured clear amber color with an average white head that lasted with good lacing. Complex citrus, spice and yeast aroma. Medium body with a smooth texture and good carbonation. Medium sweet flavor with a medium sweet finish of moderate duration with a small alcohol bite as it warmed. Tap at mellow new Albany. Good Amber color with medium carbonation. Head stays throughout. Smooth and fruit laced but Pretty sweet and not very complex. Some notes of cane sugar and cereal. Alcohol is hidden amazingly well. Would drink again but not the best tripel.

Burnished gold color with a foamy white head. Sweet nose with lots of sugar fruit and alcohol notes. Some clove spice, bubblegum, banana, ripe fruit, with a light caramel sweetness. The alcohol does sneak up on you. Not too complex but tasty. phaleslu (10546) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - JUN 23, 2015
Draft at Liberty’s. Pours a clear, bright gold with a small lasting eggshell white head that leaves minor lace. The aroma is a straight-up American take on a Belgian tripel. Crackery and bready malts, sweet cereal, some fruity esters, banana, grains, and earth. The flavor is an intensely sweet version of the same. There’s also some boozy bitterness and then an intense bite at the end. Medium-bodied, with moderate carbonation and a sweet, boozy mouthfeel. Just too much. Dal9000 (665) - Ohio, USA - JUN 11, 2015
Pours pale yellow with a thin white head. Immediate spicy clove yeast taste. There is a sweet finish of crystal sugar.
