Once upon a frozen evening way up north, a sweet local honey named Holly inspired our Jolly Fat Man (as only Holly can) to create this festive spiced holiday ale. We think you will enjoy his holiday creation with itís aromas and flavors of Christmas day. Sweet malt, ginger, honey and cinnamon spice. Sip this by the fire with your significant other. Who knows, maybe it will lead to a little inspiration of your own. From our Jolly Fat Man to yours, Happy Holidays.

Tallahassee, Fl - ABC Fine Wine & Spirits - 12 oz bottle. Murky medium brown pour, sticky off-white head that leaves a decent film of lacing. Aroma has some Christmas spice accents, a touch of licorice. Flavor is pleasant with some Christmas spices, a touch of orange peel, some nutmeg and cinnamon and just a touch of nuttiness. Mouthfeel has a nice stickiness to it.

Bottle. Pours deep amber with two fingers of fluffy tan head. Nose of birthday cake batter, Palmolive, ginger, lavender. Medium body, sweet. Really flowery flavors which tastes kind of soapy to me. Iíve had one sip and not sure I want another.

Ginger is dominant and overpowers everything else in this ruby colored Winter warmer. Cinnamon, plum, and fruity notes are there in the background. The body is light to medium with a moderate level of carbonation. The mouthfeel is smooth. The finish is sweet with a tinge of hop bitterness.

Draft @ Fatheads. Cloudy brown pour with the typical Christmas spice aromas. Large amounts of spice in aroma and flavor. Lots of nutmeg, cinnamon, toasted malt body and ginger in the finish. Iím glad the ginger isnít over powering. The orange peel gives a nice citrus note to cut the spice. Pretty well made winter brew.

Lots of nutmeg in this bronze beer. Smells like cherry Pepsi. Caramel and lots of brown sugar. And cloves. Quite nice I could drink a growler of this but the heavy Coriander detracts.

12oz bottle shared. Pours bronze orange with off white head. Very pleasant aroma of nutmeg primarily. There is some soft cinnamon in there as well. The flavor is the soft cinnamon and plenty of nutmeg. On the very back you get that bit of ginger. There is a mild alcohol burn but it is faint. This is a medium bodied beer. Overall this is pretty good.

Pours bronze with white head and nice lacing. Aroma of licorice and spices. Reminds me of cola. Taste is the same with extra nutmeg and some cough syrup.
