A very subpar beer. Aroma was weak. Could pick up some melon and cantaloupe but they were faint. Pour was a nice medium gold with a huge two finger white head. Taste was mediocre. Very thin with notes of distant hops and lemon. Not much else. Very light carbonation. Blah.

Love this ipa. This one is so smooth on draft. Sit back and enjoy. Thanks fathead. DialSquare (5031) - Columbus, Ohio, USA - NOV 7, 2014
Daily Growler, UA. Growler tap pour - so assuming this is the right place. Orange-gold pour with frothy white head. Aroma of pleasant grass, floral, citrus hops. Tastes are big tropical fruit juice, caramel malt, resiny, grassy. Oily palate. Very good, but heavy - seems bigger than the abv. swoopjones (7020) - Buffalo, New York, USA - NOV 2, 2014

On draft. Poured cloudy with a light head. Ton of fresh pine in the nose. Lots of carbonation. Extremely bitter hop that lingers for what seemed like an eternity. Not their best IPA in my opinion.

Pint on tap at Neon’s. Citra wasn’t explicitly labeled, but the buyer told me he thought it tasted like citra, and I agree, it tasted very citra-forward. Mostly clear golden orange color. Thin off-white head. Awesome, huge citrusy, grapefruity resiny aroma. Lightly piney, juicy and resiny. One of the hoppiest beers I’ve ever had, very assertively hoppy. Very strong bitter taste, upon the first couple sips I take, "this is a 4+ beer" pops into my mind (messed up, I know). Medium to bigger body, smooth, lighter carbonation. Crisp, lightly soft, with a dry finish. Big bitter taste, 80+ IBU it tastes like, probably closer to 100. Minimal sweet. I tried for 25 minutes to think of criticisms for this beer, but could come up with nothing. For me, it’s close to the perfect IPA. Super big resiny, citrusy hops. Smooth, crisp. Bigger, but easy-drinking. Fantastic stuff. JStax (6505) - Devola/Marietta, Ohio, USA - OCT 20, 2013
Draft pour. Clear copper with a white head of foam. Aroma is grassy, citrusy, tropical fruits. Taste has lots of fruit sweetness and finishes bitter. Really good. Dogbrick (13018) - Columbus, Ohio, USA - SEP 29, 2013
Sample at Daily Growler. This beer pours a slightly hazy copper-gold color with a medium white head that recedes gradually. Stringy lacing on the glass. Aroma of citrus, hops and malt. Medium-bodied with flavors of grapefruit, hops and toasted malt. The finish is moderately bitter with a lingering citrusy hops aftertaste. Decent overall. b3shine (8875) - Indiana, USA - NOV 13, 2012
Draft to 20 oz pint. Looks solid; a transparent sticky burnt-orange with off-white head and lively carbonation. Smells solid too; Citra hops with a malty backbone. Tastes like it smells with an average mouthfeel. Good beer, but nowhere near as good as Head Hunter. Tmoney99 (14492) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - NOV 5, 2012
Draft. Poured clear golden color with an average frothy white head that mostly lasted with excellent lacing. Moderate to heavy lemon citrus hop aroma. Medium to heavy bittersweet flavor with a medium to heavy bittersweet finish of moderate duration. Medium body with a slick texture and soft carbonation. Solid brew.
