On tap at Fat Head’s, pours a clear pale blonde with a small white head. Aroma is light, with toasted grains. Flavour is sweeter for a kolsch, with toasted grains and lightly sweet maltiness on the finish. Quite flavourful for the style. Clean and highly drinkable. Very good kolsch. Draft - Light grains and some sweetness. Pale gold with a decent white head. Light grains, honey like sweetness and a light bitterness. Nice. brokensail (16660) - Dublin, California, USA - JUN 27, 2015
On tap @ Fat Heads PDX. Clear golden colored beer with white foam. Bread and cereal aromas with a slight floral hop note. Pretty clean for the most part...not too much on the ester front. Slightly dry finish with a very subtle bitterness. Crisp grain and malts. Could use a touch more hop character, but overall well done for an American Kolsch. djd07 (15649) - Houston, Texas, USA - JUN 19, 2015
On tap at the brewery. Pours a clear yellow gold with small off white head that diminishes to nothing. The aroma is wheat, grain, honey. Similar flavors to nose, light, crisp, very good. Tmoney99 (15029) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - AUG 1, 2014
Draft. Poured clear golden color with an average frothy white head that mostly lasted with excellent lacing. Moderate balanced malt and floral hop aroma. Medium body with a smooth texture and soft carbonation. Medium bittersweet flavor with a medium bittersweet finish of moderate duration. Solid drinkable beer and very good for style.

Sample at The Ohio Taproom. Clear yellow-gold color with a medium bright white head that evaporates steadily. Short strings of lacing on the glass. Aroma of grassy hops, fruit and malt. Light-bodied with flavors of herbal hops, bready malt and fruit. The finish is mildly bitter with a fruity hops aftertaste. Decent overall. alexsdad06 (10938) - West Chester, Ohio, USA - AUG 2, 2014
Growler shared by Tmoney99. Pours a clear golden color with a small off white head. The aroma and flavor have crackery, biscuity malt, dry, herbal hop bitterness, light fruit character, decent for what it is. phaleslu (10731) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - AUG 3, 2014
Growler pour shared by Tmoney99 - thanks again, Tom! Pours a clear pale gold color with a small white head. The straw is especially big in the flavor, along with pale and grainy and cereal malts, grass, and a somewhat corny finish. In fact, JStax mentioned corn chips on the finish and I can kind of see that; dry and corny aftertaste. Light-bodied, with moderate carbonation and a dry mouthfeel. Overall, a nice Kölsch - and definitely carries a straw character. The noble hops are mellower. DuffMan (10723) - the land of bitumen, beef & beer, Alberta, CANADA - JUL 2, 2015
On tap at the brewery in Portland, RBSG. Very pale yellow. Clean grains, light florals. Very light-- to be fair, it hard to give an honest review of a beer of such delicacy when we’re blazing through such crazy numbers of densely flavoured brews. This seemed like a fine example of a kolsch. DrSilverworm (9672) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - AUG 2, 2014
32oz growler shared by tmoney99 at Natifest. Clear golden color. Thin white head. Dots and bits of lace. Looks good. Tastes good. Smooth, crisp, lighter carbonation. Light to medium body. Really nice straw, white bready clean lager type aroma. Medium body. Smooth, kind of crisp, lighter carbonation. Light dry finish. Seeing some of that salty corn that others are talking about but I like it. Great tasty refreshing snappy easy-drinking kolsch.
