Half pint on cask at Fat Head’s Cleveland on 10/11/13. Clear amber pour with a thick beige head. Aroma of malt and floral hops. Malty flavor with floral hops before a grassy finish. DoublEE (782) - South Euclid, Ohio, USA - SEP 23, 2013
Crystal Hops and German malts with a rich creamy head. Decent but nothing special. jmikolich (1477) - North Ridgeville, Ohio, USA - SEP 3, 2013
Tap at FH, this one missed the mark for me, no real hoppy flavor from the hops at all, means a boring german style pale? perhaps. herbal is a good way to put it, as the brewer has done, just doesnt jive with what I want from a pale ale. On tap. Pours a clear burnt orange with a thick white head. Aroma of bready malt, floral hops, light fruits. Flavor of very bready/stale malt, burnt malt, toasted malt, light fruits. Flavor is a bit stale, and a touch sweet, very disappointing. Aroma was ok but flavor was quite underwhelming.

Aroma: Hints of fruit with herbal and floral hop aromas.
Appearance: Clear dark gold with light head.
Taste: Medium-heavy sweetness with a light sourness in finish.
Palate: Full body, thick texture, soft carbonation, long finish.
Overall: The maltiness of this beer is a little overwhelming, isn’t mellowed or balanced by the hops. I’m a little disappointed.
