On tap at Fat Head’s Portland, pours a hazy golden with a small white head. Aroma brings out notes of dry hops and dry biscuity malt. Flavour is more like an IPA, with lots of dry piney hops. Dry and well-balanced, and very drinkable. Good stuff. Tmoney99 (14490) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - JUL 2, 2011
Tap sample. Poured clear copper color with an average frothy off-white head that was mostly lasting with excellent lacing. Moderate to heavy resin hop and earthy aroma. Medium to full body with slick texture and falt carbonation. Medium to heavy bittersweet flavor with a medium to heavy bittersweet finish of moderate to long duration. Solid drinkable brew that exceeded my expectations.

Sample at the brewpub. The beer pours a clear pale orange color with a medium off-white head that recedes steadily. Spotty lacing on the glass. Piney hops and malt in the nose. Medium body with flavors of resiny hops, pine and malt. The finish is hoppy with a moderately bitter aftertaste that lingers. Decent overall. Tap at Fat Head’s - North Olmstead. Very pale golden hazy pour. The nose is quite spicy and fresh with a bit of grapefruit on the back. Softly malty. Fresh and chewy with some assertive pine resinousness on the back of the palate. Quite bitter on the finish. Simple but I like it.

On tap at the PDX location, just listed as Wallop. Will check to make sure it is the same beer. Pours a clear golden/copper color with a medium white head. A big citrus nose, light pine. The flavor is toasted bready malt base with huge citrus, smooth bitter finish. Very clean. Flavorful. Great IPA. Pale Ale? OK. JaBier (7973) - Capital City, Ohio, USA - OCT 14, 2009
Sample at the brewpub. Cloudy orange pour with a big white head. Citrusy hop nose with a bit of sweet malt. Hop flavor that is piney and citrusy with a bit of malt and a very bitter finish. swoopjones (7020) - Buffalo, New York, USA - NOV 17, 2009
Sample. Very good APA. Tons of sticky, piney resiny hops here. Nice body but great hop flavor. maybe a tad heavy of the pine but nonethe less a great APA kramer (6682) - Sunbury, Pennsylvania, USA - NOV 24, 2009
Tap @ Fat Head’s. Pours a hazy dark gold body with a minimal foamy white head. More floral hop nose than citrus with some doughy pale maltiness. The flavor is doughy malts under a citrusy, but not bitter hoppiness. It’s a bit too clingy and bready for me, but it’s not terrible. Medium bodied, a bit sticky, with moderate fizzy carbonation. Not a big fan of this one. Beerman6686 (6607) - Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA - JUN 11, 2010
This poured a bright orange color with a white head. Aroma was loads of piney dank hops, and not much else, just hoppy goodness. Flavor was much the same, piney and some grapefruit too, punishingly bitter for an APA. Another great hop bomb from Fat Heads.
