13 oz draught at Pint Room, Dublin. Black; foamy tan head that dissipates into a light covering. Good lacing. Aroma roast, coffee, chocolate. Medium-full body, predominantly roasty with coffee. Very good, yet very forgettable; I had multiple Dragon’s Milk’s after this and they blew this beer away.
On tap at the Saloon. Rich coffee, roasted malt, char. Mild hop character. Dark black clear with creamy tan head. Medium-heavy body with medium carbonation. Starts with nice roast, coffee, hop bitter acids. Light tang. Finish is bitter chocolate and coffee grounds. djd07 (15278) - Houston, Texas, USA - JUL 17, 2016

Beer pours an opaque black. Very smooth taste with a very balanced hop presence. Coffee and chocolate flavors with a hint of bitterness in the finish. joeneugs (6371) - Livermore, California, USA - JUN 24, 2016
Bottle. It pours a brown color with a light brown head. The aroma is full with caramel, toffee, dark chocolate, vanilla and chocolate cake. The flavor has some smoke, chocolate cake, caramel and toffee. Strong bitterness and smoky roasted malt in the finish. Hints of burnt marshmallow. Full bodied with high carbonation. Tasty.

12oz bottle from Delocks. Very dark brown pour with a bit of a head. Aroma has sweet caramel, licorice, some light pine, and some ash. Taste is of sweet malts, licorice, light caramel, ash, and some citrus - perhaps grapefruit. Medium to full-bodied with some alcohol presence, the blend is quite good. And the carbonation is solid. Finishes more sweet than bitter but the ash kicks in with a solid presence in the finish. This is very tasty, whatever the style really is. 14.3

12 ounce bottle. A chocolate creamy hoppy stout that feels a bit less than its abv. Very drinkable. jsporrer (1058) - Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA - MAR 10, 2016
Poured from a bottle. Pours a very dark brown to black with a tan head and plenty of lacing. Aroma of dark chocolate and roasted malt with a hint of citrusy hops. Medium body with some carbonation. Starts as a smooth roasted malt flavor that quickly turns to somewhat bitter and stays on the palate. OK, but not my favorite style. Too much lingering bitterness for my preference. markwise (5441) - North of Tampa, Florida, USA - MAR 10, 2016
On draft at Stogies and Stouts 2016. Pours a stout brown with a tan head. Nose is huge piney bitterness, roast, cocoa, and black coffee. Flavor is similar with roast, dark chocolate, huge pine, and black coffee. Medium in body and not my favorite, as I am not a fan of hoppy stouts. Bottle from Matt McCue. Thanks, bro. Pours black with slight brown hew and some foam that fades. Aroma is grilled stone fruits, smoke, and brown malt. Flavor is similar with black malt and coffee. Finish is a slight coffee bitterness that fades nicely. Nice beer.
