Pours a clear dark coppery orange with a thin white head. Light spice aroma. Lightly syrupy body. Fairly smooth up front then cinnamon and clove in the aftertaste with some alcohol warmth. OK but not as good as I expected. Shot (557) - Westerville, Ohio, USA - SEP 2, 2016
Pours orange-red with a bit of floating sediment; a white head that dissipates to a sticky film. Aromas of toffee, pumpkin and spice. Toffee, dark fruit, toasted bready tones, pumpkin, spice, slight herbal notes, cream and brown sugar. Finishes with mild earthy hops and a bit of alcohol warmth. Surprisingly clean mouthfeel for a beer this big. Really nice. sturmthis (1149) - Bavaria, GERMANY - SEP 2, 2016
On tap. Cooper color with one finger head. Pumpkin, cinnamon taste, not so sweet, which I like more in a pumpkin beer. unclefrito62 (319) - Stow, Ohio, USA - AUG 28, 2016

bottle - This beer has a nice spicy aroma with nutmeg especially noticeable to me. The flavor is sweet and spicy with a good kick of pumpkin and some caramel. Medium to full bodied. The 9% abv is buried. Quite good. DavoleBomb (1867) - Pennsylvania, USA - JAN 30, 2016
Poured into a perfect pint.
3.5 A: Clear orange amber color. Two fingers of frothy beige head. Retention is about average and just a wisp or two of lacing is left.
4.25 S: Big pumpkin pie spiciness. Lots of cinnamon, nutmeg, allspice, ginger. Strong layered caramel. Toasty malts with a sweet graham cracker component.
4.25 T: Taste is as good as the nose. Again potent spices mentioned above. Sweet maltiness coming in the form of toastiness, sweet caramel, and hints of molasses and toffee.
3.75 M: Medium body. Good moderate carbonation. Moderately creamy and super smooth with a sweet tangy finish.
4.0 D: One of the better pumpkin beers offered. Definitely worth a purchase if pumpkin is your thing.

Decent for a seasonal pumpkin ale.

355ml bottle. Amber pour. Cinnamon and pie spice aorma, booze. Flavor is super spicy pie notes and booze. Wayy fuckin boozy. Nocturne (1992) - Cheshire, ENGLAND - NOV 5, 2015
355ml bottle. Dark amber shade. Small head. Nice aroma with vanilla and ginger. Gets some of the pumpkin flavour too. Tastes like a nice caramelly red ale with spices lurking all around. No real flaws and definitely one of the better pumpkin beers I’ve had. Doesn’t drink near 9% either.
