[ keg ][ 12oz ][ @Fatheads (Pgh) ][ $6 ][ snifter ][ 12.24.15 ]Hazy amber, thin white ring head, great lacing. Resinous orange nose, biting with low sweetness but considerable caramel malt presence. More tangerine resin up front, malt lighter than nose, dry with dusty mid palate, grainy paper dry bitterness lasting through softly tangy finish. Body is perfect, smooth with lower carb, balances malt profile so not too filling.

Sixer from Wegmans. Let me first say that i donít like Headhunter. Iím that guy. Pours slightly cloudy dark yellow. light frothy head and lacing. Dandelion nose. Mouthfeel is light with a little too much carbonation. Flavors are minerals, peach, lemon. Just enough bitterness to keep it interesting. Really liked this one. barely a session IPA but even for a regular IPA, itís a good one. iíll buy again.

Draft at Tippe and Drague. Pours a cloudy pale orange-y amber with a sudsy white head. Big citric nose, lots of grapefruit and orange. Creamy light body with lively carb. Lightly toasted caramel, bit of carbonic bite, lots of grapefruit and orange on the mid palate. Long dry bitey finish.

Bottle. Golden-orange with great clarity but almost no head. Snappy aroma: tangerine peel, grass, just a bit of sweaty funk. Flavor kicks off with a similar blend of grass, citrus and garlic; pine needles rise mid-palate and carry through to a bitter, dry, saltinelike finish. Very clean, very crushable.

12oz bottle pours clear amber with 2 finger head. Nice midwest style ipa that packs good flavor into the "session" package. Pleasant juicy melon and round citrus with just the right amount of sticky malt and bits of sweetness. Finishes with good piney bitterness, citrus, light caramel toast malt, melon. Nice beer.

Citrus/clementine, pine and some grass in the aroma, suggestions of Mosaic hops; copper color with a chill haze and an off-white crown; floral honeysuckle and citrus flavor, mild to moderate bitterness overall, lightly dry with some pine through the finish; medium body, smooth and slick mouthfeel; pretty good for a lower alcohol Session IPA. 12 fl oz bottle from Trader Joeís in Cincinnati, Ohio.

On draught. Had this at Matt the Millerís while in Columbus with Heather to see the Rangers play. Honey-gold pour, white head, mildly dank nose, tropical fruit, citrus. Mouth is medium bodied, more dry than sweet, slight bitterness and pretty much tastes like everything in the nose deScription. Quaffble,

From notes. On draft at Hunahpuís Day 2016 in Tampa on March 12. The pour is a nice clear golden yellow with a large, not quite frothy white head that falls down to a finger, leaving lots of soapy lace behind. The aroma has a lot of piney resin to it. There is a light hop, it smells like mosaic, which isnít my favorite, and a little earthiness underneath it. There is a little bit of a bready malt on the back of the inhale, and Iím not too keen on that. The flavor is malty at first, which is a definite turn off. There is a nice bitter hop and pine resin that keeps me interested and controls the back of the flavor. Itís got a little bit of a floral character to it that helps with the complexity. The mouth feel is light and crisp and carries a little too soft of a carbonation. Itís a touch too velvety. I like how the bitter pine brings out a little citrus zest on the finish. Itís not bad by any means, but it seems like it might be a touch messy.
