Draft pour. The beer is a hazy gold with a white head of foam. The aroma has ester notes of banana in the forefront, then some clove and pepper following. On the sweet side of taste. Starts to dry out in the finish, but lingers on the tongue. Big bodied. Medium carbonation. Slick mouthfeel. drsordr (2662) - Loveland, Ohio, USA - JUN 4, 2016
Draft to taster at cappy’s pour dark gold with thin white head. Nose bubble gum, banana, and sweet malt. Taste big Belgian candy sugar, bubble gum, ester. Cloying sweet but then a moderate amount of spice. Hides the 10 percent well. SirLimpsalot (4244) - SWEDEN - MAR 13, 2016

This was on tap at Fat Head’s Portland, Oregon brewpub during the RBSG 2015. Pours a clear yellow to orange with a white head and light lacing. Nose of banana and clove. Medium plus body. Very smooth in the mouth. The flavor has the banana/clove combination and some citrus in the finish. Very drinkable. Good beer. On tap at the brewery in Portland, RBSG. Medium golden hue, loads of banana and clove, sweet, golden syrup, but somehow not cloying. brokensail (16449) - Dublin, California, USA - JUN 27, 2015
On tap @ Fat Heads PDX. Clear orange pour with a white head. Sweet caramel malts and fruit cocktail (in heavy syrup, of course). Pretty phenolic/clove heavy, too. Definitely sweet, but not really overdone. The spice kind of helps to mellow it out a bit. A whole lot of fruits and sweet malts. mcberko (17854) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - JUN 21, 2015
On tap at Fat Head’s, pours a clear golden with no head. Nose is sweet, with Belgian yeast, banana, and clove. Flavour is along the same lines, with banana, clove, Belgian yeast and candied sugar. Sweet but very flavourful and drinkable. Good for what it is.
