Sample at Fat Head’s Cleveland on 9/11/12. Clear gold pour with a fluffy white head. Aroma of banana, clove and malt. Banana and clove flavor with some additional spice before a bubblegum finish. I detected no maple but my girlfriend said she did, which proves to me that banana character from yeast absolutely dominates my palate when present. Brewed with locally sourced maple syrup, aromas and flavors or ripe red apples, bubblegum, and spicy phenolics. Maple syrup provides a crisp yet complex sweetness to the finish. ddemmingjr (890) - Chagrin Falls, Ohio, USA - AUG 26, 2012
On tap at brewpub. Served crystal clear pale lemon yellow with a pleasant bright white ring of foam. Nose is fruity, bubblegum, subtle maple and green notes. More of the same on the palate as fruity esters and sweetness take over to round out this Tripel. Not much on the maple side to showcase the sugars. Drinkable

Aroma: Brown sugar and spice. Hints of bubblegum.
Appearance: Clear dark orange with minimal head.
Taste: Light sweetness backed with a light sourness. Phenolic finish.
Palate: Medium-full body, creamy texture, soft carbonation, long finish.
Overall: It’s a solid beer but nothing stands out. Maple really isn’t apparent at all. jmikolich (1486) - North Ridgeville, Ohio, USA - AUG 21, 2012
on Tap at FH Cle 18Aug2012, Typical belgian flavors dominate, but there is that sweetness in the finish though not a maple syrup taste just a plain sugar sweetness.
