Clear light yellow pour with small white head. Aroma of wheat, grains lemon citrus and hops. Taste of wheat, grains, lemon citrus, citra hops and a pinch of salt. Light bodied, higher carbonation, beautifully balanced. Marheb (6193) - San Diego, California, USA - MAY 10, 2017
On tap at McFate, pours a clear blonde with a small white head. Aroma brings out lots of yogurt, light lemon and citrus. Flavour is quite spicy, with spritzy lemon and light lacto. Lemony and citric on the finish. Decent. PartyFowle (954) - - MAY 21, 2015
Draft. Perfectly clear, luminescent yellow -- the color of Slimer from Ghostbusters. One inch of pure white froth caps the spooky liquid. The nose displays notes of Lemonheads, fresh grass and lemon zest. The hops work incredibly well with the citrus. A mild, funky lactic punch hits in the background. The flavor’s sugary up front, with lemon zest and simple syrup. Grass appears again, as do mild lactic funk and citrusy tartness. Brilliant balance, good complexity and avoids the foot/vomit funk that many Berliners suffer from. Light body. Super-high carbonation is almost painful at times. Zesty and refreshing. One of the best Berliners I’ve ever had. The hops are pronounced and work beautifully with the lemons; the tartness is at a perfect level; the carbonation enhances the citrus and tartness. Amazing. Lemony smell. Taste is lemon and wheat. Mouthfeel is semi-light with effervescent carbonation.

On draft at the brewpub. Not much at all on the nose — just a touch of lemon juice, a tiny tartness, and a wet citrus-leaf note. Pours a clear, extremely light yellow with barely any head. The lemon flavor bites early on the taste, yet the puckering tartness and sweetness are perfectly balanced. Light wheat and a grassy tone pop up late. Light, refreshing body that goes down as easy as water. Nice brew. deyholla (12228) - Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA - APR 17, 2014
Growler thanks to Ilya! Pours a clear pale gold with a white head that dissipates completely. Aroma is full of musty earthy wheat with a hint of tart lemons backing. Flavor is similar with earthy wheat and earthy lemon as well as a hint of funk backing. Finish is slightly dry. GT (10017) - San Diego, California, USA - APR 16, 2014

>> Clear straw white pour. Ring of white foam. Nose is dough, biscuit, sour mash, quite funky, gamey honey. Taste is clean, bright, dusty, mild lemon, not too sour, mild sour mash character Bells Oarsman style, perfume flavor like lemon verbena. Good stuff.
On tap @ Fate! Light straw-colored pour with a tightly packed ivory crown that subsides into a wisp and ring quickly. Lots of tiny bubbles percolating from the bottom of the glass. Streams, really. Lots of lemony sourness, rind and pith bitterness, and grassy earthiness. Light and refreshing. Solid. StephTamiko (45) - Arizona, USA - APR 5, 2014
Clear yellow-tinged draft pour in new Fate Brewing branded teku glass. Light funky aroma with faint citrus. Flavors of lemon & zest with tart, pucker finish. Pretty much a liquid version of the sour sugar-coated lemon candy!
