A light, yet flavorful session pale ale. Lower in alcohol content than a classic pale ale (hence the term "session"). Easy drinking beer with a nice hop profile courtesy of Simcoe and Glacier hops.

Draft in a sampler at the brewpub. Pours a clear, light gold color with a small white head that laces the glass. Notes of lemon citrus, herbs, florals, grass, and tea. The aroma really pops. Light-bodied, with low to moderate carbonation and very citrusy (lemony, really) mouthfeel. Good, clean, citrus-forward session pale ale.

Tap aT brewpub pours bright orange with a small fizzy white head. Nose is huge floral and citrus. Flavors follow suit with firm woody almost cellulose bitterness and lovely sweetness. One of the more balanced session i pas I have had! Tasty!

Draft - Piny hops and resin. Clear gold with a thin white head. Pine and resin with a bitterness that lingers. Big flavour for a sessionable ale, maybe a bit too much.

I was driving tonight so having beers like this was great while hanging with Dak and JPD. Light nose of florals and citrus. Tastes of citrus, dank hops, florals, light herbal notes. Crisp and refreshing.

On tap @ Fate. Bright tangerine/copper colored pour with a small eggshell cap. Oh, what an incredible aroma! Didn’t expect this from a session brew. This one can go toe to toe with an DIPA! Bursting with fresh off the vine citrus. Slices of grapefruit, orange, and lemon. Flavor is dialed back significantly with an initial punch of fruit that quickly moves into malty overtones, caramel, honey, and toffee. Light body, lighter flavor, but could drink this all day long!

Pailhead (6543) - Rochester Hills, Michigan, USA - NOV 9, 2013
On tap: The aroma consists of moderate orange, lighter grapefruit, and a hint of lemon. It’s transparent golden-orange with a small white head that quickly fades to a thin film outlined by a slightly thicker ring. The flavor starts with a good dose of citrus/orange with just a hint of caramel. The finish has moderate grapefruit with a hint of lemon. It’s light bodied with moderate carbonation and a somewhat soft mouthfeel. Overall, a great session beer.

I really enjoyed this Session beer. There’s mush character in it’s aroma and appearance, typical of a very good beer in this style. Not overpowering in taste but possessing a slight astringent finish. A very good start to a broad palate in their beer line-up.

Pours an orange-ish copper with a thin white head. Citrusy pine notes with a good amount of hops in the nose. Excellent flavor with just a touch of sweetness and a nice bitter clean finish. A beautifully balanced and flavorful beer with a low ABV.

Copper orange pour, white head. Citrusy hops in the nose. Some dank hops and orange citrus in the taste. Very flavorful for a low ABV beer!

Lightly hazed burnt orange pour, white head. Tons of hops in the nose. Grassy and dank. And the flavor for 4.2 ABV is amazing. Incredibly juicy and grassy. Lightly dank, really delicious!
