This works OK. The barrel character is fairly mild, normally I’d expect something like this to taste like a tequila sour.i It’s cloudy yellow w/ a short lived head of foam. Its got a really mild nose, just getting a vaguely earthy note and not much else. Acidity is nice, at a refreshing level, and the beer is rather dry. This is pretty simple and lemon juicy w/ some slight herbal bitterness and some black pepper notes in the finish. This stuff is definitely poundable but it’s not all that interesting overall.
