UPDATED: NOV 18, 2016 Draft. Pours a thin poorly retained off white head, over a hazy amber (SRM 9) body.....nose is light malts, slight coffee, no hops.....taste is mild malts, light hints of white fruits (apple, pear) mild hop bitterness, llight coffee tones.......mouth feel, light body, no alcohol, moderate carbonation. This is a well done beer, the basic Kolsch aroma and flavor come through, and the coffee was done with a light hand to just add complexity, without dominating both aroma and flavor. Tasted 11/15/2016. BJCP 8/3/15/4/7 Skinnyviking (9550) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - OCT 17, 2016
Sample at the brewery. High creamy lasting white head. Cloudy light yellow body. Dusty mild coffee aroma. Sweet and mild fruity coffee flavor with little hops bitterness, low carbonation and a long finish. Different but interesting. djd07 (14369) - Houston, Texas, USA - JUN 13, 2016
On tap at the brewery. Pours a hazy orange with small off white head that lasts. The aroma is strong roast and cocoa. Medium mouth, nice coffee roast, vanilla, nice sweetness, light finish, very good. ben4321 (6417) - Hoboken, New Jersey, USA - DEC 28, 2015
Draft at the brewery, 11/23/15. Orange in color with a lighter head. Coffee comes through mostly on the aroma. Grains and earth. Bit floral as well. Coffee works well with the underlying kolsch style flavors that exist here. Nice and light kolsch style mouthfeel as well. Overall, this is a nice beer. Draft as Laimas Coffee Kölsch. Interesting bright coffee aroma. Lager characteristics are preserved, but coffee flavor makes it more interesting. The Germans would have a stroke.

Lightly hazed yellowish color, white head. The coffee plays very well with the light she crisp kolsch base beer. Biscuity malt, good coffee flavor, light hops. Good beer. NachlamSie (3467) - Denver, Colorado, USA - AUG 11, 2014
10 oz at the brewpub. Pours hazy light orange. Very nice fresh coffee bean nose, though not as powerful as I would expect on such a light bodied style. The flavor carries the genuine coffee, which I admit is an unusual compliment to the sort of vegetal base of the kolsch. I do not dislike it, it’s just a little weird. The finish is almost like coffee with celery flavored cream. Pretty neat beer. Danyel (1606) - Colorado, USA - FEB 14, 2014
Tap. Pours orange with white head. Aroma is strong of coffee, touch of citrus...mostly coffee. Has a dirtiness about the flavor, lots of coffee. kinda musty. Not a fan. wchesser (2071) - Denver, Colorado, USA - JAN 25, 2014
Deep straw color. Big coffee nose. Taste of green coffee, some wheat. Smelled nice but this just didn’t work for me.
