3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
On cask at the brewery, dark black pour, tan head. Aroma of coffee and roast, taste is coffee forward and creamy and damn tasty. Good stuff!
Nitro tap. Pours opaque black, large creamy tan head, staying power with nice lacing. This is more or less a perfect beer to give the nitro treatment. Aroma is coffee galore, ashtray, lactose sugar, roasted malt. Flavor is rich mocha. Light plus sweet, very light bitterness. Medium body, silly mouthfeel. This is money if you like coffee. Star of the day by a long shot. maley1 (1273) - Calgary, CANADA - SEP 27, 2016
On nitro. Dark brown cascading nitro pour with tan head. Aroma of roasted malts, chocolate, coffee, lactose and slight nuttiness. Taste is roasted malts, coffee, chocolate, lactose and a hint of nuttiness. Medium bodied, soft nitro carbonation, creamy smooth mouthfeel. Absolutely delicious! beerbaaron (1998) - Arizona, USA - SEP 24, 2016
UPDATED: SEP 24, 2016 Draft at brewpub. Deep mahogany with a tan head. Coffee character is great and still works hand in hand with the stout base. Medium body. Minimal roastiness. A really nice mild lactose sweetness. Gimme more. BOLTZ7555 (3027) - Phoenix, Arizona, USA - FEB 19, 2014
On tap @ Fate. Dark mocha pour with a tightly packed latte foam. Brownie batter, vanilla, toasted oats, a hint of roasted coffee, and a touch of cream. Flavors and aroma are much more assertive than the ABV would indicate. Delicious! daknole (11049) - Scottsdale, Arizona, USA - FEB 28, 2013
Big brown pour. Brown head. Big coffee and roasted malt flavor with some spicy hops. Creamy and nice.

Had this on nitro. Pours dark brown with creamy khaki head. Aroma is a phenomenal coffee smell that dominates the nose. Taste pretty much follows suit with great coffee and roast. Semi sweet. I think the coffee really enhanced the oatmeal stout, which by itself, is a bit too hoppy for my taste. Excellent job here.
