Golden copper pour with small white head. Aroma of rye malts, caramel, slight fruits. Taste of rye malts, slight caramel, bread dough. Full bodied, perfect carbonation, nice and crisp, low on the hops. Not overly bitter, a litter more bitterness would have pushed this over 4, excellent beer anyways. hailpurdue (11) - Mesa, Arizona, USA - FEB 9, 2013
Why are there not more ESB’s running around? This is a wonderful beer, just the right bitterness, excellent aftertaste! daknole (11049) - Scottsdale, Arizona, USA - JAN 27, 2013
Copper colored pour with a white head. This is a very nice beer. Quite a big dose of rye spice, some great malty back notes, bread, hints of citrus. Really a great session beer. dcschiller (2208) - Scottsdale, Arizona, USA - JAN 21, 2013
..On draught at Fate. Pours a hazy copper color with eggshell head. Aroma is berries, rye, and cracker. Taste follows suit. Thin and dry with some caramel in the finish. One of the least hoppiest and creamiest of Fate’s brews.

On tap at the brewery. Comes light amber with a small white head. Aroma of malt, grain, and yeast. Taste is malt, rye, grass, and caramel. Not too sweet. Pretty good.

At the brewery, orange pour with a roasty aroma. Nice bitterness, and the rye is prevalent. Its good. Another decent brew.
