Draft. An unclear golden beer with a thin white head. The aroma has strong notes of wheat as well as lighter notes of banana. The flavor is sweet wheaty with light notes of bananas and cloves, leading to a dry wheaty finish. The body is light. KUEric (977) - Scottsdale, Arizona, USA - SEP 2, 2010
A pretty typical hefe. Slightly more wheaty and watery than clovey and bananay/bubble gummy. marcus (10668) - Sacramento, California, USA - JUL 12, 2010
On tap at the brewpub. Pours cloudy yellow with a citrus aroma (perhaps from the lemon wedge), and a decent white head. There is a substantial wheat flavor with plenty of sour yeast. A nice wheat beer. SamGamgee (2585) - down the whirlpool, California, USA - JUN 23, 2010
Draught at the brewpub. Served with a comically huge lemon slice on the rim of the sample glass, despite the menu saying that "lemon served on request only." I guess that the bartender didn’t get the memo on that one. The color is hazy gold and the head died as soon as the lemon juice got to it. I hate rating any beer with a serving addition, but this is the brewery, so that’s how they are presenting it. The aroma has expected weizen yeast character like banana and bubblegum , along with some lemon, though I took the fruit off as soon as I got the glass. The flavor has an obvious bubblegum fruity quality up front along with lots of ripe banana. Finishes tangy and lemony. Dry and well attenuated, though the body is a little too watery and lacks much wheat richness in the texture. Highly carbonated. Drinkable stuff for sure, but A little creamier texture would definitely help badlizard (5533) - Berkeley, California, USA - FEB 26, 2010
Hazy bright yellow with almost no head. Banana bread aroma and taste with mild clove notes and a watery finish.

On tap. Hazy golden with a small, off-white head. Good aroma of banana and yeast. Medium body, sweet banana, yeast and a whiff of phenols in the finish. Overall a very decent Hefe. 250709 bhensonb (15751) - Woodland, California, USA - AUG 29, 2009
Tap at the California State Fair. Pours hazy darkish gold with white bubbles. Appropriate aromas of banana and clove. Medium body. Soft carbonation. Flavor is bananas, clove and wheat. Finishes rather clovey. In a mild way. yespr (47545) - Copenhagen O, DENMARK - JUL 28, 2009
From tap at brewpub. Pours hazy yellow with a small white head. Estery banana fruity aroma. Dry estery and phenolic flavoured. Subdued sweetness. Ends phenolic dry. CaptKirk (175) - Hephzibah, Georgia, USA - AUG 10, 2006
Had on tap. Served on the patio very hazy deep yellow with a nice head. Aroma was very citrusy. Had this with a lemon slice. First sip, the bananna and cloves over well you, but start to subside at mid glass. A little too sweet, but a real thrist quencer AleDrinker (1089) - Sunnyvale, California, USA - NOV 16, 2005
Lots of esters in the hef. Plenty of flavors of bananas and cloves. Flavor was very sweet. Even my gf said it was too sweet for her. A decent hef but I wish it finished a bit dryer.
