3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Sampled at the brewhouse. A nice ipa. Good hops and decent maltsone of the best sampled. .
On tap @ Faultline. Clear golden beer with a white head. Stale, oxidized, old hops. Tea, orange peel, and some grass. A strong sugar character to this and a whole lot of canned peach...maybe even some fruit cocktail. Very grainy feel and a lingering sugar sweetness to the mouthfeel and flavor. This just totally misses the mark. liquidhedonism (289) - Beaverton, Oregon, USA - MAR 31, 2015
On tap at the brewpub in Sunnyvale, CA. Aroma: malty and citrusy, with hints of bread, hay, and barnyard. Taste/Palate: crisp; starts sweet; finishes bitter. slowrunner77 (12804) - Reno, Nevada, USA - OCT 18, 2014
River City’s sister brewe. IPA also pretty big on the aromatics and flavor, just not quite as good as RC’s. strongpieman (1651) - Mount Airy, Maryland, USA - MAY 29, 2013
Draft. Overall decent and solid IPA, but nothing special. Average hoppiness, gold color, haziness. Easy to drink and enjoy. wazkeatingo (1) - - OCT 18, 2012 does not count
There is no ’wow’ but there is nothing bad either... Very drinkable, but I doubt I’ll be going out of my way for it. Low carbonization and only laces a little as soon as it is poured, none in a short while... Smells like kumquats stored in a pine box ... But very mild bytemesis (9207) - Sunnyvale, California, USA - JUL 2, 2012
Tap. Pours clear orange-amber with a very small white head that does not lace. Aroma of grapefruit. Flavor is citric with some malt sweetness and a strong bitter finish. Not bad other than the low carbonation. Koskela (505) - Marysville, California, USA - JUN 10, 2012
You can smell the hops in this one just a little bit. The coloor is a clear amber. It was bitter and hoppy then sweet. Not a bad brew it was light bodied another good summer brew. batneil (777) - - DEC 17, 2011
Decent IPA, not Faultline’s best beer though. Slightly less flavour than some comparable beers. mu11igan (133) - Davis, California, USA - JAN 19, 2011
Not a bad IPA, but nothing that’ll knock your socks off. Not too heavy, not too light. Very citrusy hop aromas and flavors. Pleasant mouthfeel. Would definitely order it again.
